Neesa
Hello everyone! I want to decorate my cabin door for kiddos High School Graduation & celebrate her acceptance to University. It's also her 18th birthday. Where do you recommend quality products? I have gone through some Etsy stores but I get a ho hum feeling, I want something to make everyone smile. Any suggestions would be so appreciated! Sharla
Srp431
Just a reminder people and especially kids love stealing items off of doors. Pattycruise, Neesa and RCIfan1912 2
jbrinkm
One suggestion to get around possible theft would be to just use small, boring magnets to pin up paper/laminated signs. I see some cute ones on Ebay (I thought people might have used ones, but seems to be mostly new). Amazon has some too. asquared17, Neesa, RCIfan1912 and 1 other 3

smokeybandit
An alternative is to make your own. Just get a roll of that magnet tape and glue decorations to them. Neesa
WAYNO
I have found, most of the strip magnets wont hold a sheet of paper. So, our Plan-B is using magnet clamps and magnet hooks. These work quite well. Neesa, Cactus527 and WAAAYTOOO 2
WAYNO
My Wife is on Oasis right now with a high school friend. And using these same magnets, here's her door creation. JimnKathy, Neesa, WAAAYTOOO and 2 others 2
CrimsonCruiser
So Amazon is great for simple and inexpensive ones: https://www.amazon.com/Decorations-Magnetic-Graduation-Congrats-Carnival/dp/B0BV6QRWDW/ https://www.amazon.com/Decorations-Graduation-Magnetic-Preserver-Refrigerator/dp/B0BV6Y4P4W/ https://www.amazon.com/Graduation-Reflective-Magnets-Waterproof-Magnetic/dp/B09TNXZ43H/ https://www.amazon.com/Copkim-Graduation-Decorations-Magnetic-Stateroom/dp/B0CR6J2KYB/ https://www.amazon.com/Graduation-Magnetic-Decorations-Congrats-Decoration/dp/B09PZR8TKT/ https://www.amazon.com/Graduation-Decoration-Personalized-Keepsake-College/dp/B0BX1YXPSM/ I also like to get door banners of photo backgrounds and attach them to the door with removable putty so you could also get something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Graduation-Decorations-Hanging-Congrats-College/dp/B09SFLTGG5/ Finally - I highly recommend StateroomStatements.com. They have lots of base designs that you can add your family name to, but also make fully customized ones as well and are willing to alter their base designs too (I liked their "drink package diva" design but wanted it to read "diamond diva" and they were happy to change the text and even the background color to match my specifications AND to put a rush on it so I had it in time for our cruise last year). jbrinkm, WAYNO and Neesa 2
Psycho and Barb
One of the best ones we saw one cruise was just a whole bunch of magnetic letters with a note telling cruisers to leave a congratulatory message...It was something different every time we walked by. Oooo, I like that... may steal! I anticipate that they will be stolen, but I got some of these little magnet guys. I thought they would be fun. Neesa
@WAYNO and @smokeybandit so I did it, I am excited. I purchased both types of magnets pictured above AND made my own creation. Its not perfect but I want this door to be special.....below is my first magnet, created by Neesa! Again, not beautiful but I may get better with time! The college had this mascot on card stock, woohoo here he is ! Thanks again for the push and confidence! instaGator, WAAAYTOOO, WAYNO and 4 others 4 2

We so much enjoy and appreciate seeing all the door decorations as we walk down the hallways. Thanks for helping make all this cruise stuff so much fun. Neesa
@WAYNO My neighborhood Walmart had the magnetic hooks & clips as well! I will utilize them as well as I was inspired by the photo you posted with the garland type decorations, my door may border on "Party Cabin" I'm making sure to not place gnomes or pineapples for sure though! Yikes! WAYNO, WAAAYTOOO and CrimsonCruiser 1 1
WAYNO
Please explain the "no pineapple" thing. I've seen this reference elsewhere and I am lost. I just bought a Hawaiian shirt with pineapples. I hope wearing it isn't the cause of a faux pas. WAAAYTOOO
Neesa
Oh my! Pineapples mean hospitality! BUT, if you see them on cruise ship cabins it may signal the passengers within are " extra friendly" participating in the " lifestyle" I guess " swingers" would be the correct term. Now of course not everyone knows this, but where we are in Florida it's well known. A signal to those with "like minds" I hope that came across respectfully as I don't want to seem judgey but it's not something we ascribe to. Wear that shirt at your own risk, WAYNO
WAAAYTOOO
The upside down pineapple is supposedly the “advertisement” for swingers. I hate that the pineapple has been so undeservedly maligned. Neesa
WAYNO
Uh oh. Thank you for the education. I would think those folks may ask, "what's that old geezer wearing that shirt for", and I might just get a pass. Or maybe the old Grammas might just think I'm hot.
