Lew Rosengrant
Hello, Sailing on Harmony Feb12-18, out of Fort Lauderdale to Nassau, Falmouth, and Labadee. Wondering what are the go to items for warm clothing when out on deck in the Caribbean in the winter. I'm thinking we should be ok with some type of wind breaker/raincoat and then layer up underneath with hoodies or shirts if it's windy and the temp drops a bit at night. I'm trying to minimize the extra stuff we pack since we're flying down. Fingers crossed we won't need any of it.
AshleyDillo
I usually pack a hoodie and switch out some shorts for pants and that's all I really need. Everything else is the same as any other typical cruise. Neesa and ChessE4
AlmondFarmer
I wear the drink package. So toasty after Vintages. Midwest Cruiser, amanalo217, mike2608 and 12 others 2 11 1
ChessE4
We've only had cold days sailing from Galveston and Baltimore. Cruises can be windy, but destinations aren't cold.
melmar02
I actually need a sweater/hoodie more indoors than out - coming inside to the air conditioning from the humidity. You certainly won't need a big jacket. fireclan
Ticca
Just got off Symphony this past weekend. I understand the limitations of packing for the cruise but limiting the bags for flying to get there. I was very glad I had pants and a light sweater in my suitcase. Nights were a bit chilly for me on the balcony and upper deck. DH and kids were fine with a light long sleeve shirt and shorts. The Royal Theater was also cool during the late performance, so I wore the sweater a couple of times. Enjoy your cruise!
smokeybandit
Wear what you'd normally wear on a chilly summer night. Ray
PPPJJ-GCVAB
A sweater for indoor air conditioning. A zip up hoodie sweatshirt for outside at night if windy and cool.
FireFishII
I would definitely recommend the windbreaker light-weight jacket and a light-weight hoody. The windbreaker is usually very light and can compress into a small package but it does WONDERS in cutting down the wind thru your clothes, which keeps you warm. Midwest Cruiser
We only pack a light longsleeve UnderArmor type pullover. We come from generally -10 to 10 degree weather in ND. so 50 degrees is a heat wave. teddy and fireclan

And I usually wear that on the plane anyway, so doesn't not take up any extra baggage room.
