Melbae9
Hello friends, Heading on the Adventure in 3 short weeks, and we will be in the grand suite for the first time :D ! Just wondering if anyone had any inside tips for the the concierge lounge. I'm pretty sure we will get free drinks, but what other benefits are there? We are not heavy drinkers, so aside from a pre-dinner drink, not sure what else we will use it for, especially since other members of our party won't have access to it. We will be celebrating a 30th birthday, just trying to make the most of the trip! Thanks! Mel LifesEz
Christie
If you ever need something from guest services (fix your bill or what not), do it in the concierge lounge. No wait! Also, Freedom had a line at Guest services for gold card holders and diamond and above this week. cruisellama, LifesEz and Baked Alaska 2
tonyfsu21
Mel- it's a nice perk for sure. Not only do u get complimentary drinks but also hot & cold assorted snacks before dinner. It's a nice place to relax before dinner. I believe the most underrated perk is on departure day. You simply go to the lounge & the concierge host escorts the group off the ship. No lines and no hassle. LifesEz
bobroo
Sorry to say but the Concierge Lounge on Adventure is ummm..... Real, real low on the list of RCL spectacular spaces. I think it was formerly a library. So there are no windows and no sense it is a unique place. Some other ships have some really outstanding Oh Wow! spaces. Now for the good news. Our cruise in a GS on Adventure last March had a really outstanding concierge, Ryno. You will be getting an introductory email from whomever the concierge is about a week before you sail. You will also receive in the mail from RCL a quite nice package of pre cruise documents with luggage tags etc. If you would like to go on any of the tours (the Bridge Tour, Entertaimment Tour, Behind The Scenes Tour, or GalleyTour) you can go for no charge; but, you will need to ask concierge to attend. Ask and you can magically receive Group 1 disembarkation luggage tags, even if you don't require them. Keep in mind the concierge carries a lot of weight on board. And it's his or her job to take care any difficulties. So, for suite guests there are no sold out excursions, specialty dining is never fully booked, and it's amazing how fast an extra pillow or hangers will brought to your cabin. Enjoy your doorbell room, they are quite a treat. LifesEz and DavidSodapop 1
WAAAYTOOO
Unfortunately, I think the personalized luggage tags are a thing of the past-even for suites and Pinnacles. You will be able to eat b'fast in Chops. You will be able to order room service from the MDR menu LifesEz and cruisellama
alexk
We enjoyed ordering the full dining room menu to our suite. Also having the luggage valet makes traveling easier. We a'so had a nice suite reception. cruisellama
Carotthat
Somehow we managed to get the GS on Jewel with Price Guarantee even cheaper as the booked junior suite Just curious, are cocktails all you can get in the concierge club or do they provide vouchers due to corona? If vouchers, can they be exchanged in any bar? (me being bare gold) Caro LifesEz
WAAAYTOOO
It is my understanding that there are no vouchers for Suite passengers. You either drink for free in the Suites Lounge or you go to an outside bar and pay for your drink (or use your DBP if you have one). cruisellama, LifesEz and Carotthat 2

JSB_Z51
I believe there is a pretty good pinnacle and suite guest party where they serve smaller portions of signature items from the specialty restaurants. We live to eat so enjoy this perk. LifesEz

Very warm and kind. The suite/concierge lounge has an amazing outdoor area as well as gorgeous views, the windows are floor to ceiling. Unless I misunderstood the ship you are on, Adventure has a person running to the next bar to get you the happy hour complimentary drinks and there are little picky foods presented. The concierge can help with anything you would go to the customer service desk for. enjoy that suite, but sadly you won't enjoy those darn doorbells, ugh hated the doorbell!! smokeybandit
Dudley is rotating with the dl concierge, 3 week shifts. There's no bartender in the suite lounge now. Just a waiter going next door to the viking lounge to get your drinks. That stinks since that walk slows him down However you aren't limited to the old suite lounge menu, just the $13 rule. So a temporary unlimited beverage package each night Neesa, LifesEz, Baked Alaska and 1 other 3

Quantum class is a great example where the Concierge/Suite lounge isn't close to any bar. Oasis class has a full bar in the Suite Lounge, wonder if it would be full bar access or the classic Happy Hour menu. Think most of the Radiance class ships now have a bar setup in the Concierge/Suite lounge, but it isn't a full bar. However, across the way is a full bar for the Viking Crown. Will be interesting how Happy Hour plays out across the fleet and different class ships.

In general, the SL HH goes from 30 minutes before the first seating in the MDR until the beginning of the late seating in the MDR. Usually that's 4:30 or 5:00 to 7:30 or 8:00. It will vary by ship depending upon when their first MDR seating begins. Carotthat
