They were on Wonder during the Inaugural cruise. Played all kinds of 70’s classic rock. The next best was an Eagles tribute band called “The Long Run”. Cannot remember if we saw them on the Allure or the Oasis a few years ago. We saw "The Long Run" on Liberty in January 2018 and they were very impressive! They did a great rendition of "Hotel California" and "Get Over It" among others. Quote
smiles Posted June 5, 2023 Report Posted June 5, 2023 I just finished a cruise on Brilliance of the seas- alaska route from vancouver went from may 28th to june 4 the band “thrill seekers” really stood out to me. They were all so talented you coundnt help but enjoy the music. The musicians played for a looong time idk how they didnt get tired. And the singer WOAH talk about vocals, her voice is so beautiful i could listen to it hours on end. i also really enjoyed her little jokes and comments in between songs. Shes defenitly a talented and amazing performer and with a sweet personality like that probably an amazing person too.( i didnt catch her name though anyone know it by chance? ) But yeah they were def my fav. i came to watch almost every performance, when it ended i always felt joyful but also a bit sad since i knew there was one less day where i would get to see the performance. it was definitely one of my fav parts of the cruise. steverk Posted June 5, 2023 Report Posted June 5, 2023 I just came off of Navigator. David Hutto was in the Schooner bar and was great. He was fun and energetic. He said he'll be performing on the President's cruise, July 23 on Allure. I look forward to seeing him there. This begs another question though. Does Royal specifically bring their best performers to the President's cruise? Quote
D Alt Posted June 5, 2023 Report Posted June 5, 2023 Frankie and the Dreamers on Rhapsody Clayton Musick - Schooner Bar; El Gaucho and Randy Cabral- Liberty - Side note there were these Latin Dancers that were amazing! Led Zepagain- Anthem Music hall I can't remember prior to those at this time. Quote
Pooch Posted June 6, 2023 Report Posted June 6, 2023 Whoever the piano player was in Schooner on Harmony last month was awful! He could play piano, he could actually sing but not in the key he was playing!!! I mean really if you can’t hit the notes, change the key!!!! How do you not know that?!?!! Quote
Miro_0303 Posted August 21, 2023 Report Posted August 21, 2023 Howdy all! I was recently aboard the allure of the seas bak in Jan of 2023. There was a cover band there and I saw them perform a tribute to the nineties! I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the band. Would anyone know the name of the band? Thank you in advance. We saw them on Adventure. Almost everyone (us included) who attended the first show came back to the second making it SRO. And yes they are fantastic. One of our favorites. Quote
ScottishRobbie Posted November 21, 2023 Report Posted November 21, 2023 Another one in the Darla Fox fan club. It was only a 3 nighter, but she was wonderful on the Ovation 10-13th November. Switched on Band are also a favourite. AshleyDillo 1 Quote

ttrarick Posted December 22, 2023 Report Posted December 22, 2023 Does anyone know the names of the jazz bands on the Allure of the Seas on the December 2023 cruises to the Bahamas? Quote
Memphis Mafia Posted May 7, 2024 Report Posted May 7, 2024 Hands down Centerpiece is the best band period! First saw them in 2014. Since that year we have attempted to coordinate our cruises when they are on board. Ella, Maricel, Marlou, Erwin, Barry, and Ramon have incredible chemistry as a group. Since COVID the schedules for this band put them in the promenade more often. It appears royal has listened to feedback and we get to enjoy them 5 nights on our upcoming cruise. Can't wait to listen to your music!!!!! ! Quote

dustfsu Posted May 9, 2024 Report Posted May 9, 2024 Last year on the Quantum we had Carlo Rafanin he was really good in the pub. Took request and knew a ton of songs. Looks like he might be on the Freedom right now, go check him out. Quote
Giuseppe67 Posted June 29, 2024 Report Posted June 29, 2024 Anthony Michael, the schooner bar piano player Quote
Auto Posted July 3, 2024 Report Posted July 3, 2024 Fresh back from independence, we loved both Alan Temuer (i know I don't have his name right) in Schooner and Trenton in Ale and Anchor. We spent every night until close at either of those bars. My new favorite thing in the world is 90s rap (Snoop and Warren G for instance) played on a piano. Or watching grown men try to hit the high notes in Baby...one more time. Quote
Linda Marie Posted August 7, 2024 Report Posted August 7, 2024 We LOVED a group who played in the Music Hall for 3 hrs. at night. Don't know the name but would like to know. The one gal sang like Whitney Houston. There was another gal too. There was a fabulous guitarist, another guitarist, pianist and drummer. We (husband and I as well as our 18 yr. old grandson thought they were incredible but didn't catch their name. Pls. LMK their name if you know! They were very much appreciated by everyone there!
