Skid
Will post about Wonderland with some pictures probably tomorrow. It was OK but: 1. Skid
Wonderland Beautiful looking, service ok but not great, food is unique but "small bites" is an understatement and portions are small. Two levels, bar upstairs, dining on lower level. It was somewhat of an experience because of the way things are served i.e. smoking under glass, melting a chocolate dessert globe with hot caramel, the Mad Hatter (who just came over to chat a while) etc. but I guess maybe our expectations were too high. Not unhappy we tried it, but would not do it again. Best part of it was making the blank menu appear by painting it with water. Server chooses your appetizer and dessert, you choose your entree. Appetizers Citrus Seas Shhh...Sorry didn't get a pic of the Crispy Crab Cones (they were really tiny anyway) Center is the bird's nest, top is potted shrimp, bottom I don't remember Entree...Short rib and halibut Dessert...not listed on menu and don't remember the names. The chocolate one is what came in a ball. The server poured hot caramel over it to melt it before I got that picture. The other is a berry something with coconut. It looks like a lot of food but really wasn't. We were in and out in an hour. Skid
First activity I have seen presided over by CD Mike was today's belly flop contest. As you can imagine, the pool was packed. At the end, he said that this was the best one he's seen since 2001. I must agree. Bonus...first one I've seen with a female contestant (didn't win, but an A for effort. The blond in the white shirt is Katy, the activities manager. She is very bubbly and personable. Ended up with a 4 person "flop off" and then, with still a tie, the last two had a simultaneous final flop. Mike declared them both winners. Mike is a winner also! hayley_bopp, Lovetocruise2002, SpeedNoodles and 4 others

Skid
Never saw an RCL ice show that wasn't super impressive. 1977 is no exception. CD Mike came out at the end and gave some amazing details. The system that controls the drones is so sophisticated that if the wind blows one out of place, all the others adjust their positions to avoid crashing into each other. As Mike put it, "90 seconds cost us a million dollars..it's how we do things here" Costume designer did Hamilton on Broadway. Choreographer did the Salt Lake City winter Olympics Seems like everyone is doing quick change acts these days. Personally, I never get tired watching them, but seeing it on ice with a woman spinning around while parallel to the ice was spectacular. Sorry, no pic of that. I just have a big file video (even when compressed). Regular pictures do it no justice anyway.
