I believe I may be in the minority here, but we love Cats .... even the abbreviated version.  I believe the real issue is that some folks may have trouble following the story line..... perhaps, if a Playbill was offered as people enter the theatre, providing, perhaps a back story as to what is about to unfold, some folks may be able to follow it a little better, therefore be able to enjoy the show.  In all honesty, Cats is one of the reasons why we booked Oasis out of NJ again this coming September.

Getting to the Heaviside Layer is the main plot of Cats.  Macavity (the evil cat) wanted to get there by any means.  He and his minions kidnap Old Deuteronomy (the old man cat), the elder who was going to pick who goes to the Heaviside Layer at the gathering (Jellicle Ball).  Macavity then crashes the Jellicle Ball, disguised as Old Deuteronomy. A fight ensues when he is exposed and he escapes from the junkyard.  Old Deuteronomy is brought back by the magic of Mr. Mistoffelees (the cat in tuxedo).  The elder then picks Grizabella (Carol Burnett from her Lola skit) to go to the Heaviside Layer.  At the end, Old Deuteronomy breaks the fourth wall and sings "The Ad-dressing of Cats" to the audience about how to properly address cats.  (This is probably Old Deuteronomy's way of scolding Oasis guests for their poor treatment of Cats har har har)

I miss everyone ... but in all honesty, I really haven't gone anywhere..... the real issue has been browser issues with this website.  Normally, I use Firefox, which used to be fine when it came to the message boards..... then, several months ago, something happened and I wasn't able to log in ..... that is, until I discovered that using Google Chrome, everything worked just fine..... so, I'm here, but I may not be "here" if I'm not using Chrome.

Thank you all for your help.  Just got back mostly good, a few misses.  Light rail from BWI was perfect 90 cents each, hotel 2 blocks from the station (and the ballpark every night).  Sheraton Inner Harbor perfect location 12th floor corner view of the harbor.    Unfortunately not much running during the week.  I mean the visitors center was closed!! so lots of walking. Ok LOTS of walking - like 30 miles in 3 1/2 days.  Loved Fells Point, ate at Amicci’s in Little Italy twice it was so good!

Ok --- you asked for it.  For comparison ..... my wife's is on the left. 

When we took it, it was all about the rolling of the sushi.... in other words, the rice, shrimp, anything else that needed to be cooked was already pre-cooked.
We had an awesome time.  I learned that I'm to NOT EVER DO THAT AGAIN!!!  It was Hysterical

I'm back @JLMoran --- crazy thing, I use Firefox here at work, and, up until today, I wasn't able to log into the message boards like normal.  Who knows what was going on, but......I'm back.
In regards to Tobacco Bay .... the tide differential is insane.  There are a couple of normal size park benches that completely become submerged during high tide, then show themselves as the tide drops.  I'd say there's a 3' - 4' difference between high & low tide.  Crazy.

@BrianB, what's the most straightforward way to get to Elbow Bay Beach? That's one of the ones I'd heard about and wanted to make a point of seeing next time I'm in Bermuda.
Also, have you heard of the beach that has a cliff people jump from into the ocean, and then they swim to a cave with carved stairs that take you back up to the... lighthouse? Fort? Some building that's also there and gives access to that jumping cliff. Might be Admiralty beach?
