We say the same thing about anyone who does not live in SoFL wondering how people can deal with the cold. It’s jacket weather here if the temp drops below 70F. Hurricanes & humidity aside there’s something to be said about an endless Summer. I’ve left reluctantly a few times and visited somewhere with snow and a real Winter and I find myself kissing the ground when we land back at FLL vowing to never leave again. 

We are between St Augustine and Jacksonville in North Florida. We actually have a change of seasons here and very few snowbirds. 
 
We are 2 hours to Port Canaveral, 4 to Fort Lauderdale and 4 1/2-5 from Miami depending on traffic. I’d personally look around the Space Coast. Melbourne etc. That would put you basically at Canaveral and then just 2-3 hours to Everglades and Miami. Prices will be more reasonable. You’ll also be close to I-4 (or Bee line) to shoot over to Tampa. 

Nope, but they are covered with the Refreshment and Deluxe beverage packages. Everything on the Johnny Rockets menu is included with the Ultimate Dining Package except for the milkshakes and the beer. Soda is actually covered if you dine there even without a package.  Confused yet? 😂

Yes, but they have the couples earmuffs instead of taking them away. 

Watched it twice on Liberty of the Seas on our B2B at the end of October and beginning of November.  It was great and my girlfriend loved it.  They are using a single microphone for each couple and setting them a good distance away from each other with a helper to hold the microphone for the person talking.  
 
I told my girlfriend we could easily win if we get married the day before or on the cruise.  We know each other very well and were laughing at all the tame answers.  We hands down have one of the best and most unique places we have ever made "whoopie" after we joined the 650' underground club.

Ha - it is so random when they add.  I have been checking everyday since I saw it was back.  Keep checking. 

I have the same problem. Im missing Liberty and Vision. I was able to get my Mariner this past October.
If you are interested, I can buy you one when I sail on Symphony March 5, 2022. I believe they run $60.00. You just pay regular price and shipping. Im going to buy one for myself to add to my collection. Let me know. 

Ebay. We collect them and the only one we had to get on ebay was Odyssey. We have 13 so far, and next 2 cruises are repeats. So won't get #14 until this summer on Adventure. Goal is to collect them all!

I think Royal has found a good balance that brings value for the vacation dollars spent.  A luxury cruise experience sounds great but they costs luxurious dollars.  A budget cruise sounds easy on the wallet but are often too budget oriented - you get what you pay for, or not.  
Certain companies I gel with.  I have tried other lines, several of them as I sought to check out the grass to see if it was greener over there.  This has helped me validate my feelings about Royal.  In the end Royal feels like home, if there is such a concept, for a cruise line.  
I like that Royal doesn't include everything as that would drive the price up and I'd pay for things I don't want or need.  
I like that Royal offers activities for a wide variety of ages.  I may not have young kids anymore but the kids areas and activities keeps them occupied so they aren't all swamping my space because they are bored with nothing to do.  When I travel with family or friends that have younger kids the kids programming allows me and my friends to spend some time together while their kids are occupied.  
Sometimes I want to jump in a bumper car or lace on a set of skates and sometimes not.  On Royal there are those things for me if and when I feel like it.  Even when I don't sometimes it's fun watching other people have fun.  
I cruise Royal not because of the Crown and Anchor Society but those benefits certainly don't hurt and it is one of the best loyalty programs in the industry.  For me I just enjoy many different aspects of a Royal cruise.  I haven't had bad experiences on other lines but it just doesn't feel like home like it does when I first board a Royal ship at the start of any cruise.  

DESPITE THE HIGHER COST OF LIVING IT STILL REMAINS POPULAR

My wife and I are scheduled for the jetski tour at the end of February on Oasis.   We will each be a "driver" and it will be our first time on a jetski.  We have done ATVs and other motorized craft.
On a previous trip to CocoCay we watched the jetski excursion.  They were giving instructions including staying with the group and absolutely no alcohol permitted or consumed by anyone before the excursion.  We watched them go out with the more experienced and faster drivers in the front and there was a guide or two that escorted the group.   I don't think they were allowed to explore on their own or saw any sights except for coming and going to CocoCay. 
Will know more in a few weeks and can report back if you'd like.
 

I loved it and will definitely do it again. We only had a group of 5. Sites are incredible and you can go as fast or slow as you want as there was two guides  one leading and one trailing to help. It is an actual tour and they tell you some of the history in the area. It is all open water touring around the different islands. I was surprised how far out we went. 

I save one from every cruise.  When I'm done sailing on all the Royal ships, I plan to mount them in a shadow box together with my SeaPass cards.

Thank y’all for all the advice!  This is our third reschedule due to covid.  My kids (18-20) aren’t able to go due to not being vaccinated which upsets us since we booked before there ever was covid…so I’m determined to make his birthday special!  Our 25 anniversary is a week later!
