Back on topic, god I hope they don't bring back the old muster drill. What a regressive step.

We were in Port Canaveral last Monday and saw the outer decks of the Disney Wish packed with passengers and the crew in their bright yellow vests doing their muster drill. Added it to my list of reasons we stay loyal to Royal 🙂

I'd love to see a RC ship home ported in Norfolk, VA!

The longest cruise possible is when ones significant other says they want a divorce on night one. 
 
Pre purchase insurance for this rare event with the Deluxe beverage package in cruise planner.

Definitely look for older/smaller ships, and off-peak times. I just did a quick look at sailings in Nov 2023 on Vision OTS from Baltimore and some of the sailings the JS is cheaper than a balcony. 

We'll be onboard with a large group of extended family, ranging in ages from 11months to 88 year old. We're all checked in, 11:30am boarding time. Flying in the day before, so fingers crossed for no bad weather/flight system crashes/cancellations/etc. 
This will be our first cruise as D+, so we're excited for a few extra perks (mostly some free laundry and extra internet).

It is one per household regardless of separation of staterooms. That's for the gift and crystal blocks, of course all other amenities are per person.

Every cruise is a wine cruise if you have the right drink package! 
Lots of countries have lots of bad or questionable politics. If you start weeding them out, you suddenly have very few places to go to. It can even be said of places like the US and Israel, as well as the Middle East, China, etc. etc. Everyone is someone's enemy. Except Namibia. Everyone likes Namibia.*

* - am from Namibia, assume everyone likes us 🙂
 

Some of these replies are hilarious! 
I don’t think I have any pet peeves, I just sort of float along like a butterfly for a week.
 That said, I did once take a cruise where the people on the balcony below us enjoyed standing out on their own balcony completely naked (not sitting, but leaning against the rail to see the scenery). Trying to explain to my kids why two grown men were nuding it up on full display of an entire side of the ship was an amazing experience. 😂

I had no idea you could call room service to do this! Very glad you posted this comment - I'm going to do that from now on!!!

My pet peeve 
All the rest of you interrupting my personal cruise by even being there.
When you see me coming your should move out of the way, give up your seat for me and generally make me feel like royalty.

As follow up, most chair hogs don’t even recall which chairs they dropped their load of towels off. There is some entertainment value when the perpetrator returns to the scene of the crime.
