This is a long time coming!  We’re safe, we’re educated, we’re proven with protocols! I was so happy to sail out of Nassau a few weeks ago and I can’t wait to sail out of the USA with similar and sensical protocols!

In most cases you get what you pay for. 

I'm relatively new to cruising, but am completely hooked. I've only ever sailed on Royal and Celebrity, and have my first Norwegian cruise booked for October 2021.
What I'm looking for is opinions on Carnival Cruises. Their prices and itineraries look attractive, but I remember how my wife and I were on a tour bus in Curacao with mostly Carnival passengers and we ran off the bus because it was like a bad day at Walmart.
Have any of you been on a Carnival cruise and how bad is it really?

I think what we are arguing about is the CDC nanny state not allowing the unvaccinated to be responsible for their own actions so they are punishing the vaccinated.

I don't think it's beyond the cruise forum.  You don't think we have mom's on this forum to be concerned about this?
It's a tough question that Royal is going to have to address.  I know we have people that could give top level thoughts (for those of us that aren't savvy lawyers) some general direction.

I couldn’t believe that statement from the CDC was real! Did they actually want fully vaccinated people to still wear masks outdoors prior to this?!
 
If this is their standard I’m starting to question weather cruising will start in the US before November. 

I anticipate the first cruise on the 12th to be an absolute cluster F. I think we all need to be mentally prepared of us to be waiting longer than we should. It will probably be the first day on the job for the vast majority of the people working on the check in process unless RCG brings in port agents from FLA which i think is highly unlikely.

I think this is all inevitably heading to a law suite. The CDC has shown now that they have no interest in re-opening cruising and it has nothing to do with health and safety.
