I wanted to jump off Allure, swim towards Iconand be rescued. My wife took off her wedding ring.
    I climbed off railing.

I've done it three times so far. my TA isn't a top star so i've had to do it myself 2/3 times. this last time, she was finally able to do it without issue. Just make sure you add the points ASAP after booking because the staff's understanding of the cut off for the "new" bookings requirement is all over the place. I've heard 7 days, 14 days 3 months, and 1 year after booking lol

To make a long story short, my husband and I are ready to cruise again after taking a 2 yr hiatus due to starting a family.
We are looking to cruise this coming November (just us two to celebrate our 5 yr anniversary) on Oasis and this time we are planning on using a TA (already reached out to MEI). Anyways, we used to play MyVegas and typically turned in our credits for OBC. He thinks if we use a TA that we cannot turn in our credits for OBC. Does anyone know if this is true or should I just wait until I hear from a TA?
    Thanks!!

I was able to do both on my last cruise on Anthem in the fall. I happened to book my cruise myself, did my MyVegas OBC and also transferred to MEI and had no issues.

My husband was able to bring his CBD. We had it packed away with our other toiletries and nothing was confiscated. I think he had a smaller bottle anyways.

I’ve taken several cruises with kids around this age, most recently on Navigator.  We rented a car with a car seat; this was the most challenging logistical issue.

You need to reserve the nursery ahead.  We found that nicely stopping by each morning worked out well; we never had a problem with a reservation.  The charge is not too bad, but they do charge for diaper changes.  Our kids (now grandkids) have always done well in the nursery.  The pool options for toddlers in diapers vary from ship to ship.  But, we have always found enough to do with little ones.

I wish I could assist but I can see the port from my backyard, we normally walk. I have heard people use travel car seats that either fold or inflate. Good luck

It’s been a few years but I’ve done this x2. The royal tots pricing is exceptional value and while I don’t recall exact numbers I do remember it being cheap. As for the pack & play this can be provided by RC by request. We went many years without taking excursions and opted to walk around town with the kids in strollers so didn’t have much experience with the car seats exc. Overall as a family it was an enjoyable time, nowadays we need Apple Watches attached to these kids to try and keep up while they explore the ship. Enjoy.

I've had success emailing [email protected]
Just let them know your sailing date and booking ID and explain that you would like a table for two.
My husband and I did this on our honeymoon and are doing it next month. They emailed me back saying they forwarded my request to the the ship for processing but recommended me emailing them again 14 days prior to leaving just to confirm.
For the most part, you will be able to get a table for two 🙂

We tipped our porter as well as our stateroom attendant.
We have also tipped some bartenders who went above and beyond (had our drinks ready when we go there, knew us by name, etc).
Tipping amount is really up to you. Give whatever you are comfortable with. I believe at Guest Services they have envelopes where you can write their name and their job title to make sure that tip goes directly to them.

** I do not work in the service industry so this is not coming from someone working for gratuity. I answered a question as to my Genie gratuity a few weeks ago and was "verbally scolded" by someone as trying to sway people etc, etc. to give more money because "I must be working for tips"
So personal, but here is what we do. Before a sailing we go to our local bank branch and get a pack of 50 singles as well as a great deal of 5's and 10's. We usually have 20's on hand as that is what the cash machine spits out. (sometimes Publix will change out to small bills for us also.
Porters and room service always get gratuity. We use @WAAAYTOOOsuggestion as a base line & set aside 5.00 for breakfast if sitting down to dine, 10.00 for lunch and 20.00 for dinner. We tip along the way, now this amount changes if the service which is few and far between is lacking. * One time on the Oasis Thanksgiving 2021 we received terrible service for dinner in CK and our gratuity was adjusted to reflect that. Please note that was just one sailing and our timing was off because @wordell1was on the same sailing with a later reservation time and he had great service. Ours was probably a one off sailing, time and staffing probably to blame.
We usually connect with our cabin steward & tip extra in the middle and then the end of the sailing.
Do what you feel is comfortable, please don't ever feel pressure from what we share here. everyone of us has unique experiences, don't stress over it and enjoy every minute of your sailing. Time is the most priceless thing we have. Be present & enjoy.
