I got them for my wife and I on Anthem last year. If they're at all similar to what Liberty has, they will be fantastic! They dip them in dark chocolate with a white chocolate drizzle, and the strawberries themselves were uniformly large, sweet, and just the right level of ripeness. They keep, too -- we saved about half of them in the cabin fridge and didn't finish them off until the third or fourth day of the cruise.

I guess I've never really given this topic a lot of thought until now reading all the responses here.  On formal nights on cruises we just skipped the MDR and picked the windjammer or whatever else and that was it, we just didn't feel like participating and having to pack "fancy" clothes (we both work in a professional environment and don't feel like dressing too fancy on vacation).  I can understand the sentiment with the formal nights for people who are accustomed to that from prior cruises, it is neat to see people who go all out and dress up, I guess I never thought twice about what other people were wearing because it didn't affect my vacation or if I was having a good time.  My thoughts are, do what makes you happy and as long as you're not hurting someone else, then you do you.

Also, GTY rooms are the same way-make sure you are 100% comfortable getting at least that room any where you see that room on the ship.  GTY reservations are cheaper but will not be worth it if you are not ok with getting whatever you are dealt.

I'm sorry that you are not happy with the location of your "upgrade" but it is, in fact, an upgrade. Going from an inside room to an ocean view room is considered an upgrade.  One of the dangers of using RoyalUp is that you do not know where you will be relocated and with the basic room accommodations the locations vary widely.  That is why I recommend that people in a balcony category never try and upgrade to a different balcony category b/c sometimes you end up with basically the same room you started with but in a terrible location.

You can email them, but I don't know the email address.  We always use a TA, so they do it for us.  We have them do it when we pick our MDR dining time (we do late traditional seating).

Obviously not the biggest concern, but I can only imagine what the mood is like on that ship, both for passengers and crew as they're leaving that port and continuing on.  Just a really sad situation all around, I know its a risk and we take risks all the time, but not something you really think about when going on vacation, honeymoon, etc.

On Freedom (and any Freedom or Voyager class ship)  the deck 7 & deck 10 corners are great cabins.  On Deck 7 the balcony is huge and offers a great view out the side.  Deck 10 has a room about as big as a JS but for a lesser price.  Sometimes these do not show up as available, even if they are, when booking for just 2 people as they can both occupy more than 2.  A travel agent should be able to help you there.

Nope! Asked my T/A and she does it as a service. No commission anymore because hotels and airlines stopped doing this many years ago, maybe decades. The only advantage is if the cruise line has purchased a block of hotel rooms on certain days like Expedia, Priceline etc. But that's too costly and a lot of work.

@Harper and @Geoff P I just posted this to another discussion, thought it might come in handy for you. I have used this and found it helpful: https://www.undercovertourist.com/orlando/crowd-calendar/ We did four days in park at Animal Kingdom, then took a DCL cruise in 2018. I would do it again in a heartbeat except I would not pay through the nose for DCL again. Rather, RCCL.

I'm not sure if it is possible (haven't heard all your particulars), BUT! If you can book fast passes at Disney, you might get to ride 2 or 3 of the better rides while you are there. Even with fast passes there are waits, but it does make it possible to ride more than a couple during the time you will be there.

MagicBands are most useful if you are doing a Disney vacation as they are your room key, your charge card, your entrance tickets, your FastPass tickets - everything really. The benefit for a one day trip is smaller and they do cost something if you aren't doing a Disney vacation so it may not be worth it to you. The main benefit for a one day is if you already have them and they're connected to your ticket, you don't have to stop and pick up tickets at a wicket when you arrive (which may have a line) - just scan it at the entrance and you're in. So basically more time in the park. Also, if you are interested in going to Hollywood Studios, Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and riding the brand new Rise of the Resistance ride, you need to get a virtual FastPass (called "joining a boarding group") the day of once you're near the park. if you have a magic band linked to your tickets, you can do that before you're even in the park and increase the chances of actually getting on this ride.
I have magic bands already from a previous trip and so I don't need to buy now. For a one day trip, unless I was planning on coming back, I'd likely not buy as it's already so expensive.
If you go, regardless of whether or not you also buy Magic Bands, buy your tickets at least 30 days beforehand because on My Disney Experience you can pick 3 Fast Passes which you're going to want for having so few hours in the park.
If you want sit-down meal instead of fast food/counter service, make those reservations beforehand too. You can make them before guying a ticket as early as 6 months before your trip.
My final advice for Disney (I love Disney and have been multiple times), is to make a plan ahead of time of what you want to do and look at maps of the park so you know what is where. You don't want to waste time discussing it in the Park and missing time actually doing stuff. A great website for that is www.TouringPlans.com.

730am may seem ambitious but that is what it will be assuming no issues getting to the port.  Being that you booked with RC, they are going to prioritize getting you off and on your way.  You may even meet in a particular location for this shore excursion on the ship so that they can be as efficient as possible getting you off and loaded into the transportation vehicles.

We stayed at the Kimpton Epic.  It’s right next to the Intercontinental, which was over our budget.  We always book through Priceline or HotWire and get much lower prices than if we booked through the hotel. The trade off is that you don’t know which hotel you’ll get, but you choose the area and the star rating and what you’re willing to pay and we’ve never been disappointed.
