I agree with @AshleyDillo.  Given the fact that your Oasis choice is on the lower deck, I would definitely go with Oasis.  In the case of the ATS, lower is very important....the lower suites themselves and the balconies are much bigger.  That, and the fact that Oasis has already been amped. The ATS are such awesome suites.  Everyone is going to love, love, love the view and the amenities.  I would not let the shows nor the decor influence my decision....there is so much more to consider.  The $$ is certainly something to consider...but by the time you have spent THAT much money on a suite, $700 isn't really a deal-breaker, IMO.  It's true that Oasis does not have Wonderland, but that's a ++ for me as I am not a fan....but for some, it is disappointing not to get to try Wonderland.   Don't know how adventurous the kids are but most kids find Wonderland waaaytooo long and the food is not kid-friendly (nor adult-friendly in our case !!) unless your kids are atypical with food.  The decor in Wonderland is fun though.

I thought something like might happen which is why in a different thread I raise the question, what happens if a non-vaccinated adult passenger tests positive and several people posted Royals response they will cover all cost. But when you are talking about resuming cruising on multiple ships from multiple port out of Florida where you are prohibited by law from asking for or requiring vaccines the cost to Royal Caribbean to get customers home would be astronomical.  Remember when the industry shut down the CDC prohibited cruise lines in particular from utilizing commercial travel to get people people home if they tested positive. If cruise lines are still barred from booking customers who test positive and subsequently disembarked from the cruise on commercial flights the cost of booking noncommercial travel adds up quickly and there is no way a company like RCC can absorb the total cost associated with getting non-vaccinated  passengers home on noncommercial flights.
I 100% believe that passengers should have a choice they should not be forced into getting vaccinated just to go on a cruise.  However at the same time unvaccinated passengers can not expect a cruise line to absorb 100% of the cost if they should test positive during their voyage.
Back in 2018 my husband got sick on a MSC cruise we were on the Divina on a 12 night cruise and they medically disembarked us in Colon Panama. Luckly we had insurance and I'm bless to work for an airline.  If we didn't have insurance and airline employee, between the medical cost, hotel cost, port fees (Panama charged us a hefty penny for the disembarkation in Colon), taxi to get from Colon to Panama City and then finally last minute air fare we could have easily been out of $10,000 - $13,000 dollars if not more.  That situation was the first time we ever had a medical emergency on vacation and I was grateful we had insurance.  This situation we went through is precisely the reason why I've been questioning Royal's policy on covering 100% of cost if a passenger test positive especially if RCC feels like Florida's law would result in a even larger pool of unvaccinated customers (adults) on their ships.  There is no way RCC can cover the cost and remain in business if several unvaccinated adult passengers test positive on cruises and require disembarkation. Remember the MSC ship in Italy disembarked not only the 2 passenger who test positive but also their entire traveling party and those deem to be in close contact because they were all unvaccinated. I can only imagine what it cost MSC to get all those passengers home especially if they couldn't use commercial /public transportation.

    4. What vaccines are accepted? Vaccines that are fully approved or authorized for emergency use by a national regulatory authority (such as the U.S. FDA), or global health organization (such as the World Health Organization) are accepted. Please be aware that certain countries we sail from or visit during a voyage may require a specific vaccine, and only those travelers vaccinated with the requisite vaccine will be considered fully vaccinated. Be sure to review your departure country's requirements or consult our guest materials prior to sailing for these requirements

This is truly my pleasure.  Nothing I would rather discuss than the joys of SC.  It sure beats talking about vaccines and unvaxxed protocols !
I understand you being nervous....but it is just a nervous anticipation.  I know...I have it myself every time I am looking forward to going on a SC cruise.  The Genie is whatever you want them to be.  Some people just want to be left alone (that would be Dan) and some people want the Genie to do everything.  The best situation is somewhere in the middle.  Some Genies are better at certain things than others.  For instance, Reyno (we've had him twice) is, hands down, the best party planner of any of the Genies we have had but he tends to be very busy and can sometimes be hard to get ahold of.  He loves a good party and his planning is exemplary.  Reyno also walks at a forced march pace (he was an Officer in the Army in South Africa) and I could never keep up with him !  Charlie (unfortunately, no longer with Royal) was the most personable and the added the best "personal" touch.  Yen Lee was the most efficient...she is very literal but not particularly spontaneous but damn if she wasn't right there ALL the time when you needed her !  Joyce was the most fun.  She was a chatterbox and would tell you all the Genie "secrets".  Sebastian was the ultimate professional.  He seemed to be the best at most everything, all around but definitely not the party planner that Reyno is.  So you just never know what you're going to get.  They are all wonderful and there isn't a Genie that we have had that I wouldn't be thrilled with having again.
The best advice I can give you is....USE the Genie for things that you would not, otherwise, be able to do.  Have them plan a party for you.  If you don't have any family or friends on the cruise with you, participate in your cruise's Cabin Crawls and invite them all to your suite.  The Genie will arrange all the food, drinks, plates, napkins, silverware....literally EVERYthing you will need.  Most likely you will never have the space or the service to do this again.  Have the Genie set up a small event for you in one of the venues that normally don't have events...like a small party at Vintages.  You can have it catered from one of the other specialty restaurants or you can get an assortment of the tapas from Vintages.  We were traveling with friends who were also SC on one of our Harmony (Reyno) trips and even though you aren't permitted to have food in the casino, one night....waaaay early in the morning, I see a guy making his way through the casino with about 6 pizzas stacked up and I thought to myself, "that's strange...I've never seen anyone with pizza in the casino before".  Sure enough, it was Jim and Jim.  I guess they treated the whole side of the casino to pizza.  I'm sure they were very popular.  LOL  We met some wonderful people at the Chef's Table when we were on Anthem and we invited them back to our GLS.  We called Yen and asked her to have some snacks delivered (as if we needed any more food after the CT but it seemed like a great idea at the time...) and we got waaay more food than we needed but they also brought us a bunch of drinks (can't remember what they were now...some Scotch for Dan and I think I got a margarita or something)...all delivered for no extra charge.  They will bring you as much food and drinks as you want so it doesn't matter that the other people in your party (in your suite) are not SC.
You learn as you go along.  We weren't that "good at it" the first time.  You begin to learn what you can and cannot do.  We did B2B SC on Anthem in Feb 2019.  The first leg of the trip we went all out - the Cabin Crawl party and the people from the Chef's Table.  Then, on the second leg, we chilled.  We did some of the shows a second time (we love We Will Rock You) and we went to a concert of a Bon Jovi cover band.  Yen saved us seats up on the second deck of the Music Hall (even though she's not supposed to do that).  So nice.  When we were on our last SC cruise before the shut down, we had Joyce reserve us some seats in the Oasis's Music Hall (which is the old Dazzles...not nearly as nice as the Anthem's Music Hall, IMO) to see a Journey cover band and we invited @twangsterwhich is when I finally got to meet the man, the legend, the MegaBot.

@WAAAYTOOO nailed it.  You absolutely get all the benefits of Star Class.  You get access to the Genie.  in fact if you don't find out that you won RoyalUp to Star Class before your Cruise Planner closes, when you get onboard the Genie will help get your dining and drink packages canceled if you had purchased them.
Basically the only thing you won't get is if they were offering an extra OBC for booking that specific room in the first place.
Drawbacks are if you have 2 rooms and you win RoyalUp, you can't just combine the 2 rooms into the new Star Class room and cancel the other one AND the Star Class perks will only be for those in the room that won.  However, you only have to pay your bid amount for the first two passengers.  So for example if you had a room with 4 people and won, all 4 get the Star Class privileges but you only pay the bids for 2 people.
It's a bit of a fun game thinking about it in this era of uncertainty..with folks about to CWC 48 hours before sailing..I'm sure there may be quite a few Star Class surprises throughout the fall.

The pre-purchase for Izumi sushi is a pre fixe menu, so you're better off just making the reservation and paying at the restaurant.
However, you may need to check if you can authorize it to be charged to your onboard account if you won't be there with them to give your card at the end of the meal.

My first thought went to was that a typo and they meant March 2020, which would have been near the beginning of the pandemic?  But then why wouldn't anyone booked prior to today, no matter when they booked pre-pandemic or not, be exempt?  Would have been easy enough to word it that previous bookings are grandfathered in.  It's a big change in policy either way.
The only significance of March 19, 2021 I could find was that was the day they announced they would be starting to sail Adventure from Nassau in the summer.  Maybe the focus on that time frame is because they didn't want to penalize the  passengers who already booked on Adventure to having to get insurance for their kids?
Just re-read and it's only for Florida ports apparently, so scratch that thought process.

If RoyalUp continues to operate the same as it did Pre-COVID, then yes, if you win a RoyalUp into Star Class you will receive all of the perks and amenities of SC.
Your example "A: The Royal Up upgrade does not include any additional promotions.
However, you get to keep whichever promotions you already have." refers to booking promotions such as discounts, OBC offers, etc.  So you cannot get additional booking promotions via RoyalUp but you definitely CAN and WILL get all of the amenities that come with your RoyalUp upgrade.
Yes, CruisingPower is a travel agent tool. I have a limited TA status.  I can only book cruises for myself !  ...but as part of that status, I am able to access CP.

Hmmm....this is really a hard thing to quantify.  Some people truly enjoy the service of a Genie and some think they are completely overrated and unnecessary.  How's that for a non-answer ?  I'm going to be completely honest, here.  I am one who loves, loves, loves the Genie and Dan honestly doesn't really care for the Genie service.  The first time we did SC it was so new and so different from anything we had ever experienced, we both really enjoyed it.  The second time and the third time, etc. Dan began to resent that the Genie always seemed to be interrupting us for one thing or another.  The door bell and/or phone seemed to ring incessantly...which is true. They were always bringing something or dropping by to take something away.  If Dan got his way every time, we would probably never do SC again.  It's just too much commotion for him.
To answer your question, yes, I think having a Genie is going to be even more important in the restart than they ever were before.  Once they start to ramp occupancy back up I think things like specialty reservations are going to be more and more difficult to get.  I think things like expedited boarding and disembarkation are going to be more and more valuable.
One of the services of SC that I really love is the fact that they do your laundry for you.  You can have it sent out once a day, twice a day or never. I really enjoy this service.  They bring it back to you on hangers with your unmentionables in a bag.  There are so many things that are nice....
Is it worth the money ?  I guess I think it is. Many disagree.  It's hard to really quantify the level of service that SC provides.  Many will say....I'll just buy the UDP and the DBP+Voom and I will have the same thing, minus the Genie and save myself $$$.  But that's really not all there is to it.  On the first 2 SC cruises, I hosted the CC Cabin Crawls.  We had no less than 40 people on each of those who came to our cabin and were offered all the beer, soda, water, and food from the specialty restaurants (most of that food came from Jamie's/Giovanni's).....all at no charge.  We also offered champagne and wine (which we paid for but it was very inexpensive).  It was so much fun to show off our suite and have everyone enjoy themselves.  On each of those Cabin Crawls I know for SURE that we "sold" Star Class to at least 3 couples....so it's probably in Royal's best interest to cover such events.  Sky Class gets complimentary room service from the MDR menu.  Star Class gets room service from any and all of the Specialty Restaurants.  Big difference.
As far as what the Genie can do that you cannot do for yourself, the only thing that really comes to mind are the reserved seats at entertainment venues.  It's nice to be able to arrive at an entertainment venue just minutes before it begins and have the specific seats that you want, reserved for you.  Here is another example.  We had a credit card issue on one of our SC cruises.  The CC company (which was the Royal Caribbean Visa card, BTW !!!) began declining our onboard charges.  YIKES !  That was a real problem for us almost instantly as we charge considerable $$ to our onboard account at the casino.  The Genie talked with the revenue dept. and it was resolved - or so we thought.  Next day....charge declined.  By now, Dan was furious not to mention the fact that it was embarrassing when the casino pit boss had to tell us that our cash withdrawal had been declined.  Oh boy....  We tromped down to Guest Services, hoppin' mad.  It just so happened that another one of the Genies just happened to be there...and b/c the Genies all know who the SC guests are, even if they are not the Genie, he recognized us and asked if he could help.  When Dan explained the problem, the Genie disappeared behind the GS door and reappeared very shortly - this time with the ship's Revenue Manager - and this time, the problem was fixed...for good. Perhaps our Genie should have done this in the first place, but it was nice that it finally got handled properly by a fellow Genie.  They truly are a team.  We are always told that if, for some reason, our Genie is not available, feel free to ask any Genie for help.
If you can afford it, SC is definitely a treat.

I also noticed that the MDR was extremely stingy with the butter for whatever reason.  They had the individual packs and only gave us a few in the butter dish - it was consistent at every meal (different tables at my time dining).  We asked for more and they brough more but it was definitely odd.
