Usually slightly less.  For a King Bay view room with Club access, it ranges from around $350-400/night.  What I do is I book with the members (free to join) refundable rate and watch the price.  When it goes down, I cancel and re-book.  You can do that up until a few days before arrival.

Several contributors on this site have already commented (facetiously) they expect norovirus and the common cold to be used as an excuse to lock down or force restrictions again.  As crazy as that sounds - in today's environment, you never know.

Both the Harmony and the Symphony have a Hot Tub on the Suite Deck (Sometimes referred to as the Afterdeck) Neither the Allure nor the Oasis, even post-amplification have the Hot Tub. I have not seen an attendant on the suite deck on the Anthem either. There is a door to the stairs leading to the deck that may be closed and require a Sky or Star class sea pass card to open.

Surprisingly close.  The only things I noticed were:
Dealing with the pre-boarding changes the week prior to sailing.  My advice to anyone following me, read every email in detail.  The repeats looked just like the important ones. The crew wore masks the whole time, but the guests didn't There were way fewer people on board. The buffet seemed very normal, but the crew served your food. In Barbados we had to go with a Celebrity excursion to exit the ship.  All other ports were normal, but nearly empty.

FOX Business did a very positive story. They’re calling it a success story and calling out the media who are freaking out.

Dr Siegel calling this a great advertisement that the vaccines are working and we are getting on with our lives. He said he was ready to cruise.

We fly out this afternoon. Unless something happens, this will be my final post on this topic.
It's been a great cruise and celebrity has worked especially hard to make it a success. I want to thank them for all of the hard work and bold step to be the first ones back.

If they don’t clean up their act pronto on this testing nonsense, I’m just gonna cancel for March and eat the deposit,  let someone else deal with the headache,

Unless something drastically changes, here is the outlook.
The people that tested positive were isolated and treated. Not left to rot, like in 2020. People with close contact got isolated, tested, and most importantly...released after testing negative Everyone else went on with the cruise. The next sailing (and Adventure) are going as scheduled Glad to see things handled well.

80% of covid deaths are 65+.  Almost 60% of deaths are 75+. This disease has hit the vulnerable very, very hard, but has hit the younger, healthier populations consistent with the flu.

Based on their shore excursion schedule, I see one of two ways

    1) They picked up covid around the same time as they did their pre-cruise test, so it was too soon for the test to pick it up
    2) They were exposed to covid in Barbados, same day as the post-cruise test. But the test picked up not true infection, but just the concentration of the virus in the nasal passage from exposure, and the back to back tests picked that up.

In the UK there have been concerns around mass testing of vaccinated people and having people test positive due scenario 2, and not because the virus was reproducing internally.

I'm not surprised GMA did a report on the ship.  They have a crew on board. They must know chaos is not an accurate description,  but they probably wrote that headline weeks ago.

Another alternative is to reject the premise of the game altogether, which in my view is what needs to happen for us to return to normal (on or off of a cruise ship).
Even if you don't realize it, you are buying into the CDC's idea that managing COVID must be premised on a zero COVID strategy. How different would our mitigation measures look if we could get public health officials to acknowledge publicly what they are already planning for privately: COVID is endemic.

Exactly! Just as there is not way to stop a cold from being on cruise ships. And yes, zero Covid cannot be the goal as it is an unattainable goal.

My father passed in February due to heart failure. Because he had tested positive for SARS-CoV-2 the previous week, his cause of death was listed as the coronavirus. As pointed out by @UNCFanatik, he died WITH Covid, not because of Covid. This is one personal example of reported Covid-19 deaths being higher than the real number that should be attributed to the disease.

That's merely people who died within 30 days of getting covid, regardless if covid contributed to their death.

We have no idea how many deaths would have been attributed to H1N1 in the US if they would have tested for it the way they test for Covid now AND counted deaths back then the way we have counted them in the last year
And we have a counting problem in the US. We have failed to distinguish between dying FROM Covid from dying WITH Covid in many cases because of the financial incentives.
And then there is the seasonal flu, should we shut down cruises with families because of cases of flu found aboard which is much more harmful to children than Covid has been?
I hope cruising can survive this restart because no matter what, Covid will be on cruise ships just like everywhere else in our daily lives. Its just how the CDC, media and general public handle the news when cases are discovered on multiple cruise ships because if you test every vaccinated passenger, Covid cases will be found. And the there are the false positives where passengers can get left at a port.
I know, I know, people will say that is the price to be paid for cruising now but we will never remove Covid from cruise ships because it will become endemic

During H1N1 states were ordered to stop mass testing programs. Pretty much the opposite of how covid is being handled
