I used them to: secure ship provided extension cord to ceiling for my CPAP, hang coat, bathrobe , daypack, over the door organizer, and binoculars

Those are the same ones that I have, I can tell you that if you find ones of that particular quality at a dollar store then you have indeed found a GEM! You will find magnets but you usually will not find ones that are strong enough to be very useful, meaning that they will not hold much weight when attached to the wall. I carry about 4-6 of them in our luggage and have only used about three of them. Wet bathing suits, towels, and clothes are pretty much what we use them for as well as leaving notes for our cabin steward, or hanging up the cruise compass.

I second this - Billy carries quality merchandise, and I like supporting fellow members (plus he has great content on his site!).

I buy mine from Cruisehabit.com https://shop.cruisehabit.com/collections/cabin-comforts/products/magnetic-hooks-hang-wet-clothes-or-other-items-from-your-ships-stateroom-ceiling
Billy @monorailmedic used to sell two different weights, so I have them both, but it looks like he only has the heavier weight ones now. I wouldn't go with cheapy ones, they might not hold up as well. We use them every cruise and love them!

I’d second that. The plastic luggage tag holders are a must have. Be sure to order the right size for royal Caribbean tags.

I checked Dollarama and couldn't find any there. Amazon is probably your best bet. Add some luggage tags to your cart too and you're good to go ?

We used them to hang wet suits, hang our sea pass cards, and put the compass’s on the wall. I also hung shoe racks for my daughter and I from them.

Yes, I use them in my classrooms. They have the hook ones that I like hanging work in my classroom.

Did you mean yes as in you found them at the Dollar store?
Wow, that's very creative!
Thanks, we're on a budget and this cruise is getting pricey!!! I'm going to look at our local dollar store and hardware store in Canada first. I'll check out the luggage tags too.
Thank you Andrew!
Those look very sturdy! Thank you, but I'm in Canada, so I would incur quite a bit in US exchange, duty and shipping. I'll be sure and get good quality heavy ones .. thanks for the tip!

They can't assist you calling the ship, however they can assist in other matters.
If you are going to be late returning to the ship or cutting it close the port agent can be a contact to use that will speak english plus usually local languages. They can be a means to communicate your position and status so the ship might not leave you.
If you miss the ship the port agent will have items from your safe such as passport, credit cards, cash that you will want as you try to figure out next steps.
If you wake up in a hospital after being in an accident the port agent can assist you with matters related to the cruise after the ship has departed.
Basically the port agent is a local liaison that is a resource to use when things don't go right. They might not be able to answer all your questions or step in to your personal situation but they can advise you on general topics such as where the closest embassy is.

Entertainment for my Allure sailing just opened yesterday at 86 days out........however, no aqua show showing available. Not sure whats up with that. Got 5 other shows booked so hopefully if the aqua show opens up it is available on one of the 2 free nights or I'll have to do some shuffling.

Thank you! Geesh, 79 days and no access? Do you think a call to Royal Caribbean might help, just to make sure there isn't a glitch of some sort?
Thank you! I saw the modify/cancel option when I booked one of the shows. It was super easy, and very different than our first sailing. I have a spreadsheet for all 7 days that was ready to input with our shows! We have plenty of time to eat at our traditional time of 5 pm, plus go to WJ for recon as per @Matt @Lovetocruise2002 @AshleyDillo and others here ?
Thanks also for the well wishes, can't wait!!!

Yes, you can reschedule. If I were you, I'd coordinate your dining and entertainment plans. We usually request a traditional seating, so we know when we will be free for shows. Other members use My Time Dining. Whatever you choose, have a great cruise.
