Kids in hot tubs, especially younger using it as a pool. Besides ruining a relaxing location it's not safe for them. While I like to stick it to them by going cheap when I'm paying for the cruise, it's offset by the $$$ shelled out when I tag along with my mom while she spends my inheritance, so... 😆

All the rest of you interrupting my personal cruise by even being there.
When you see me coming your should move out of the way, give up your seat for me and generally make me feel like royalty.

I witnessed a bored kid hit all the buttons on an elevator then follow the elevator on the stairs watching it stop at each floor

Disrespecting crew members. On our last cruise, some woman was at the coffee shop while a crew member was mopping floors. She then said "can you get out of my way so I can order my coffee?" I remember it distinctly since it was so uncalled for.

People who “forget” what a line is. This has been particularly an issue at Adventure Ocean. A line of parents will have formed and some parent will walk right past it with their kid, completely confused as to what this gathering of people might be. 

Hey! Head's up on Little French Key. I've never been but was researching it because it looks SO FUN, then I saw another post on RC Blog about "drama on their Facebook page". After looking at the LFK FB page, we decided to go with something different. Who knows what the real story is, but I had to mention it after seeing this post.

Speak to the towel attendant. I'd just play dumb "went back to chair and towel was gone."
Keep an eye out for a charge at the end of the cruise and ask guest relations (or call when you're home) to adjust the charge.

I'm ginger. Sunblock, lots of sunblock. Always unopened bottles. Travel size for shore side. Seriously, see me :). DSLR & a few lenses. I'm a Canon guy but might be looking for a lighter setup for travel - Sony Mirrorless maybe? A7? "Dollar, dollar bill y'all." Seriously, lots of singles. I try to keep a $1/$2 dollar per drink tip flowing. (Also $5s for tips as well - porters, etc). Passport. Travel insurance. Might not cover everything or sometimes not worth it to file a claim but I mainly care about the medical anyway. Patience & Kindness.

Little bump!... Love this review/tour. This will officially be the smallest ship we've sailed on. We have both been discussing this more recently, we are in, 100%. Might lose inaugural Icon of the Seas because of it but we both are digging this trip more. 
Peeked at the cruise planner, only a few day 5 excursions available but enough to wet the palate. 
Now if it was only December 2023 and not 2022 LOL!

Am I wrong in thinking the tip go to more than just MDR staff? If you take off the auto tip-the people behind the scenes are missing out on money, correct? 

$16 a day per person is extremely reasonable considering it covers 3 meals, stateroom service, and everything in between.  We would easily surpass that if they weren't already taking it out (and always add more).
... and this post is almost a decade old...

I'm just a little uncomfortable with people stopping the automatic daily gratuities no matter what service they use or don't use but that's just me. We use the MDR half or less a cruise but would never stop the tips process because of that. Not trying to start a fight, just my thought process.

Did you miss the large 20’ walls isolating the Labadee peninsula? Also, there are armed guards stationed at the entry points armed with side arms and assault rifles. I have been recently with absolutely zero issues regarding safety. Labadee is a great & safe destination unlike the remainder of Haiti proper which is a war zone.

Re: Transfer from Panama City to Colon Cruise Port The easy way is a taxi, or a transfer service (could be cheaper than a taxi). The bus is the cheap option, but it isn’t easy. Although if you’re in Panama City already, it’s just getting to Albrook bus terminal, hopping on a direct bus to Colón, and then take a taxi to the bus terminal.
