    A quick search for Boston "Old Town Trolley Tours' has a stop at Black Falcon cruise ship terminal which is only a block or two from the ship.  The website states that this stop is only in use when cruise ships are in port.

    At least one service offers a morning run into the Seaport district, otherwise it will be about a two mile walk up to the Boston Common, or over to the Aquarium area.   The other option would be UBER, taxi, or the Silver Line.  Note The Silver Line on the weekend is spotty at best, they really don't stick to the published schedule. 
    Google the service you are thinking of and look at their map of stops.

    When we sailed on Voyager out of Boston last fall, taxis were all over the place on both embarkation and disembarkation days.
    I'm assuming ships dock stop at the same place they embark/disembark from when they are ported in Boston (Black Falcon Cruise Terminal)?  If so, it's about a mile and a half walk to South Station where you can access the subway, but it can be miserable if it's cold/rainy/windy.  When we finished our cruise last fall, we dragged our luggage to South Station because we were too cheap to pay a taxi and the Silver Line bus never showed up.  It was a beautiful day, so the walk was pleasant other than having our bags with us.

    It's so funny that I just read your post, as I just called (again) to change my room number and one of my top priorities is to be CLOSE to the elevator!   I was thrilled to find a room that was both near the elevator, on the port side and on the same floor as at least part of the solarium.... I am sure that the Customer Service folks at RC are thrilled that I have found the perfect room too, and will quit calling them every night... ?

    It has been a few years since I was on Harmony but I believe you can access the solarium from the port side hallway of deck 14

    In some cases the sofa bed is not a standard pull out sofa bed you'll find on land but the concept is similar.  In some cases the sofa bed folds down to make a bed for one person, in some cases it is very much like a conventional sofa bed for two.
    There is no magical cruise ship sofa bed that somehow out performs regular land based sofa bed but can't be found on land.  
    The matter of comfort is subjective but also more variable for the sofa beds compared to the mattresses.   
    In most cases a guest will be inclined to accept it given the other option of a whole different cabin and the costs associated with another cabin.
    I can't imagine anyone has slept on a cruise ship sofa bed and left the cruise thinking "...that was sure better than a mattress! "  or "I lucked out getting the sofa bed!".
    Some people, particularly teens and children are less likely to notice or complain about sleeping arrangements.  Someone who is paying a full share for the cabin might feel differently.

    Thanks!  I don't think i put both of our names on the order when i ordered it, but i guess at worst, i will just have to buy another set...   Maybe I will have the option to create separate accounts once we get them and sign on to take the test.

    I know that people have ordered packs and used them for many family members.  I think when I ordered mine I added my husband's name in a spot where they asked (although I don't know that that's 100% necessary).
