Ooh this is interesting. I hope it’s something good! I’d actually prefer for it not to be Oasis class just because I like sailing something different.

This is interesting. I understand the frustration.... Good to know for future cruise bookings.....I wouldn't let it ruin my vacation, but I do understand how the early call on a vacay day does indeed suck. 
Maybe switch cruises?

It's ok to vent a little.  @Al Millergot what to him, appears to be a procedural slap in the face.  It hurt and he griped.  Now he knows why and when the pain of the slap wears off, he'll likely avoid instances of that particular pain point in the future.  It appears he's in for it again in Feb.  He's better equipped from the information he received today but also still currently in a group of other passengers similarly "slapped" by the unknown requirement.  

Don't worry, if you can't access the sale today, the exact same one will be wrapped up in new packaging and available next week!

In the end you have to research the ship you're going on and the destinations. A lot of times that I hear complaints, usually just watching a few videos on the ship before booking it would point out those things

Can't speak about Allure's boardwalk donuts, but the normal ones available in the Windjammer are terrible.  Royal really needs to find a new recipe.

The attendant didn’t clean her room well yet seemed reluctant to leave her alone. I was on a sailing in the fall where the stateroom attendant would walk in on the wife of a man/woman couple when she was alone.  No knock.  She didn’t lock her room when alone because her husband might come back as she showered or napped   She also walked in on the attendant in their room-he had not propped their door open, it was not “cleaning  time” Apparently the attendant was a bit of a  “ look see”, after the 3rd time the husband had a “talk” with the attendant and he never entered the cabin unless it was cleaning time and they were out.  For those who have not experienced this type of unwanted advances/implications/inappropriateness consider yourself lucky.  Some people feel they can pray on women, young people, heck even older people, men…and get away with it.  unless you’ve experienced it it’s easy to say “this doesn’t happen on a ship”.

There is no reason to attack them or call them fat and a liar.
 

I apologize for the insensitivity of some of the replies you received.  Most of us are better than that. But managing expectations is difficult, and the larger ships are a different experience from smaller ships.  I have found Johnny Rockets the least enjoyable eating venue, usually because it is so crowded.  You traveled in peak season, which is another factor that contributes to crowds.  All I can say is that cruise vacations, like large theme-park vacations, do require preparation to maximize your experience and minimize your misfortunes.  Better luck next time, wherever you choose to travel.  Also, you might want to look at tips from solo travelers.

Honestly, this happens to me a lot. Maybe it's because I am 5'3. Maybe it's because 9.5 out of 10 times I'll just shut my mouth. People on vacation and cruise ships are just rude. You're not invisible.
I even had a friend say, you need to stick up for yourself more. I don't disagree, but is it worth it at Cafe Promenade? "Excuse me, I was next, okay, I will have my 3rd ham & cheese sandwich" ... I just don't want to bring myself to that dark place to be that angry over it. Go ahead, everyone knows what you did, enjoy your sandwich 3 minutes before mine. 

My TA said that "Somehow" it shows up that I repurchased those 3 items on June 21, 2022.  I cancelled them last August!  What gets me - if you purchased all those things you have to pay immediately so that should throw up a big red flag o their side.  I am truly thankful that I have a TA to deal with this because it is stressing me out as we cruise in 6 days!

IIf it was just one drink out of many I wouldn't even take note of it. But that's just me. 

I stayed there in November.  The location is great as it is directly across from the Bayside Marketplace.  I was not totally impressed with the hotel itself though.  Our room was very dated and the bathroom so tiny and old.  Bed was comfortable though.  Not sure I would choose to stay there again.  

I go on a Sea Food Diet instantly.  I see food and I eat it!

In 2006 the Star Princess experienced a fire that started on a balcony thought to be caused by a cigarette being thrown from a higher balcony.  Her balcony dividers did not open.  One of the findings from the investigation was that fire fighting activities were hindered because the crew could not move from balcony to balcony, they had to fight the fire from within each cabin onto that specific balcony.  Had they been able to move laterally from balcony to balcony they could have put out the fire much faster.
As a result balcony dividers that can be opened became a new requirement when building a passenger ship.    Ships built after the Star Princess event have balcony dividers can be opened, at least for crew movement, if not for the pleasure of groups with multiple cabins.

If you make a MTD reservation for the same time each night you will have the same table and waiters, plus be sat with your linked party members. If you have different times, you will be at the whim of the seating charts.
