I already filled that out and it got me nothing more than getting on senator email newsletter lists.

Maybe California will contemplate convening a study to explore the idea of considering a tentative involvement in a limited commitment to a flexible proposal surrounding the concept of engaging in preliminary discussions with the CDC.
I will provide an update on this in 6 months.
 

If the suit has proper legal merit and standing I do see other states getting involved.  
However I don't play an AG on TV so...

Now we need Texas and Alaska to join the lawsuit, or file their own.

When our March 2020 sailing was cancelled, I immediately logged in to cruise planner and cancelled everything.   Refunds to credit card within days....  People that left items booked waited months for $$$ to be returned...
 
Just my experience...

If either means we can finally get going again, I would do either. I do question the need to wear one outdoors or on the pool deck - but we went to Disney World with the masks being required unless actively eating or drinking, and it was annoying, but doable. I won't be thrilled with wearing one on the pool deck, but I will remedy that by ensuring I always have a drink in my hand. I am more worried about what the requirements for excursions will be. I don't want to have to be on a RC excursion to leave the ship. If that is a condition to sail again, they better start contracting with my favorite beach clubs and restaurants. 

Sigh. I have 5 scheduled.
One on Carnival in October (my friend I'm going with is diehard Carnival so I thought what the heck, I'll try it). Then Liberty in Nov 2021, Adventure March 2022, Grandeur Sept 2022, and again Grandeur Oct 2022. 
I'm not holding my breath for the October, I am pessimistic about November, hopeful for March, and if we're not sailing by September 2022, I give up.

Royal is doing what it needs to do to survive.  It's obvious the CDC has no intention of letting them sail soon in America.  Numerous ports have agreed to allow Royal ships to visit on the premise that everyone will be tested and everyone will be vaccinated.  Virgin Cruises is doing the same.
There is no way any Caribbean nation can tell it's people they are opening their ports to thousands while those countries haven't been vaccinated unless everyone arriving is vaccinated and tested.  That is the only way to better ensure the safety of the Caribbean nations being visited before those residents can get the vaccine.  
I realize many will not choose the vaccine and some can't get the vaccine for medical reasons.  The problem facing Royal is the very real possibility of collapse if they wait any longer.  
Boycott if you must, spend your money elsewhere if you choose.  However understand the company has to do this to survive.  

We have been members of the @michelle fan club ever since we first entrusted our cruise planning to her not long before all this COVID silliness started... great timing and a great decision even if we do say so ourselves! ?

We also would like to give a thumbs up for Michelle as well! We have been working with her for a few years now and she is always there when you need her. When the pandemic started we had to cancel and lift & shift several cruises and she made the process a whole lot easier and less stressful for us. 
We have recently booked a Panama Canal cruise and Michelle was able to find us prices that we never would have found on our own. For this, we are grateful. So in agreement with Bob, she does make miracles happen!!

For those of you who are on the fence about using a Travel Agency, PLEASE READ. This past weekend we decided to book a 7 day cruise on the Anthem out of Cape Liberty, NJ and bring our daughter and her family along with us over Easter week departing on April 22, 2022. I spent a couple of days searching the Anthem for a JS for my wife and I and two balcony adjoining rooms for our daughter and her family. I did find some of what I was looking for on different decks, near the elevators or on deck 13 (below the WJ) and they all were not acceptable. So, I contacted Michelle, MEI Travel (they also sponsor this blog) told her what I wanted and VIOLA! Today I booked a JS on deck 10 and two adjoining cabins also on deck 10. None of those cabins were available when I searched. Moral of the story here is don't waste your time, get ahold of Michelle at MEI and let her know what you want. She can make miracles happen! ?

You mean the "private" tables for two might no longer put you even closer to other couples than sharing a large table with them does?
