Sorry you feel your 50th birthday and honeymoon is "ruined." I can understand the disappointment of reality missing the mark of expectations. That being said, try to keep a positive attitude?! Just saying "we are going to make the best of a disappointing situation" can go a long way in turning things around....that and a few drinks at the bar. Hope it gets better for you. Control what you can control....

I'm an extreme introvert and usually do better by myself, but I guess I'm gonna give it a try anyway, coz that's what this trip is all about - trying new things :-)

In the main theater, It’s kind of hard to describe - you are near the back of the main level. You aren’t front row but you aren’t at the 2nd level either. However, from where you are, you can see everything.
You are directly behind the Star Class seating so we happen to think they were very good seats.

Definitely look at YouTube as someone will have posted a room tour.
No question is stupid here. Chances are someone's asked it before. ?

Yes, all cabins come with some form of a closet with hangers supplied to hang up your clothes.
No stupid questions.  Better to research and ask questions compared to assuming and having incorrect expectations.

What kind of stateroom are you in? Maybe room service and private meal on balcony (if you're in balcony). Pre-order items as suggested by @Quilter620, we've done that a few times. Look through the restaurants menus and choose a nice specialty restaurant for a "date night" (we do that almost every cruise, especially if friends are with us to get away from them LOL). Find photographers and get lots of pictures all dressed up. Sleep in a bit, slow down a lot, and enjoy each other.

Bring battery operated tea light candles to use in your cabin or on the balcony.

I would never fly in on the day of a cruise.  Too many chances for things to go wrong.  My humble opinion.

Just for fun, share if you have ever had these cruise experiences.
--Sailed alone - Truly solo, no. Without a significant other, yes. As a single man in my mid 20s, and had a BLAST.
--Sailed with a sweetheart/spouse - Both. Very first cruise was with my GF at the time, then sailed again with my GF that became my wife, then on our honeymoon, then with my wife.
--Sailed with other family members - multiple times....parents, siblings, cousins, grandma.....
--Done a repositioning cruise - never
--Missed a port call because of weather - Coco Cay ONCE, then got booted off Coco Cay another time to leave early because of rough seas. That was back in the tender days, and hopping onto the plank from the tender was.....dicey.
--Had your port of disembarkation changed because of weather - never
--Sailed in or out of a port in your home town - never
--Sailed in or out of a port in foreign country - kind of confused by this one....arent most ports in foreign countries? Bahamas, Mexico, Grand Cayman, Belize, Honduras for me.
--Gotten sick on a cruise - not yet
--Ate at the midnight buffet - yes
--Had formal tea on a sea day - no
--Visited a cruise line's private island - Coco Cay
--Toured the ship's galley - no
    --Toured the bridge - no
--Had a wardrobe malfunction on board - no
--Sailed on a cruise line other than RC - Yes (shhhhhhh)
--Had the chef make something special for only your table - no

Dined in a specialty restaurant on board Done Chef's Table Done the exact same itinerary at least twice (5-night Bermuda sailing on Anthem in October) Seen the exact same production shows at least twice (We Will Rock You, Spectra's Cabaret) Put myself into a food coma Developed drink fatigue while using the DBP Gotten seasick After I've sailed sister line Celebrity in August, I'll also have these ones cleared:

    From your list:
    --Sailed with a sweetheart/spouse
    --Sailed with other family members
--Done a repositioning cruise (technically - it was a Panama Canal cruise)
--Sailed in or out of a port in your home town (not unless the Toronto Island Ferry counts)
--Sailed in or out of a port in foreign country
--Visited a cruise line's private island
--Had a wardrobe malfunction on board (XYZ incident)
--Sailed on a cruise line other than RC (Princess, DCL)
--Had the chef make something special for only your table (it was because we found a plastic pouch in the soup (I presume it contained the soup) on a DCL cruise. I guess DCL gets some food from Sysco?)
    Additional:
    - My wife got to visit the infirmary
    - Won money at the casino
    - Lost money at the casino
    - Cursed people that stayed on 14 vs a dealer 10 at the casino
    - Wiped out on the pool deck
    - Sailed a river cruise

I make up a mini medicine cabinet.  One sleeve each of antihistamine, anti-diarrhea med, gas-x, Pepto-Bismol, Benadryl, Mucinex, etc.  Small bottle of calamine lotion, tube of antibiotic ointment, a few bandages in common sizes, antiseptic wipes, etc.  Mine fits in a small make-up bag.  It is nice to have what you need without paying ship prices, or realizing you need it after the ship store closes.

While there are some overlaps in the JS and Key benefits, there are some that are exclusive to each.  The JS does provide priority boarding and CK dinner, but the VOOM service, embarkation day lunch and priority show seating does not extend to JS. For VOOM, reserved show seating, CK lunches, Concierge services, etc you would need to RoyalUp to a Grand Suite or above.

My husband and I had the Key on Anthem last October for a 9-night sailing.  We were booked in a balcony cabin.  We wanted a junior suite, but the prices were ridiculous when we booked (around $3,000 more).  We always get 2-device Surf and Stream anyway, and we had a $100 OBC to use.  We paid $19.99 per person for the Key.
My husband always bids on RoyalUp when he has the opportunity.  He started out with a mid-range bid for a junior suite, but decided to change it and put in the max bid.  About 10 days before the cruise, we got the upgrade to a junior suite for the max bid of $1,000.  Based on the price difference between the balcony cabin and the junior suite, we felt like we got a great deal.  We loved the cabin, and we ate dinner in Coastal Kitchen every night.  It was wonderful!
We did not cancel the Key because of the upgrade, since it was to a junior suite. With the Key, we absolutely loved the embarkation day lunch in MDR with the Chops menu.  We also loved the disembarkation day breakfast.  We didn’t take advantage of any seating for shows or private hours for activities.  We were only able to take advantage of priority disembark at one port, and it was great.  We just got off the elevator, asked where to go for the Key, and they let us get in the line right at the exit.  We had excursions booked in all the other ports and had to meet in the theater and they escort you off.
I know getting the Key is a personal choice, and I can tell you for the Anthem cruise we absolutely loved it!  We didn’t even take advantage of all it had to offer either.

From my understanding with the Royal Up its a gamble and you dont know if you are awarded the room you bid on until very close to your sailing.  If you want the guaranteed perks from purchasing the Key then I would go with that.  Just my thoughts on it.  I hope you end up with what you are looking for.
