I have always been "colorful" and not one to follow the beaten path. I have had a couple occasions  where staff had to ask me nicely to stop fishing off my balcony. This time I decided to go a slightly different direction. Brought my daughter to Coco Cay when she was about seven and came up with a "good way" to spice her trip up some. I brought her to the little shallow beach away from the popular snorkeling one to do some "special snorkeling". Being a fisherman and diver over the years I developed a collection of old galleon "pirate coins". brought one along tucked in my waist band. The water on that south beach was maybe knee deep, sand bottom and of course gin clear. We were maybe thirty yard from shore and I tossed the coin out in front of us without her seeing... I nudged her and kept her on course to "find" it... I remember her making noises through her snorkel when she "found" it.
"Daddy its a pirate coin!" Wow was she excited! Mission accomplished  (or so I thought). We exited the water and she ran off showing the coin to every person she saw. Before I knew it,  the other areas emptied out and we were "joined" with a couple thousand "treasure hunters"... She's 27 this year and getting married. I had that coin set and unbeknownst to her I will make it available for her to wear when I walk her down the aisle... ?

And the penguin... not sure how his little beak is standing under the weight of the sunglasses.

I had a towel animal that was wearing sunglasses and reading the cruise compass. Another time the animal was watching Dora the Explorer on tv. I always love the towel animals that use our sunglasses or hats. I always bring a stuffed animal with me on cruises ever since I was very young and I love when it is incorporated. These little touches always make the cruise extra special!

I had saved this picture a while back because it was the most unique I have ever seen. I'm sorry I don't remember who originally posted it to give them credit. Imagine walking into your cabin after a few drinks and seeing this! ?
What is the best towel animal/sculpture you have gotten or seen?

Costa Maya we took a taxi to their general beach area. Not much but wqas fun. Cozumel has a place called Money Bar and that was fantastic. Had an awesome lunch couple sodas and great snorkeling right there. Havn't done Roatan but hear its great. Coco Cay has good snorkeling as well..

G string and a "beater" t shirt might get you asked to be a bit more appropriate. I've done nice shorts with collared shirt but GF gets grumbly so usually its Khakis to fill the pants end of things...

First, it is called a cabin and a deck. Now you can sound like an experienced cruiser. ? We always pay additional gratuities (you prepaid the gratuities, right?) toward the end. Tipping up front, is like tipping your waitress at your restaurant at home, is soon as you sit down. Makes no sense to me. Some people like to do it that way, any that is fine. We have not seen any lack of service with our cabin steward by tipping at the end. Unfortunately, we have not been able to tip any of the MDR staff extra. We usually find bar staff that deserve extra, though.
    Enjoy your cruise!

We just booked our first RCL cruise on Enchantment this coming October.  Have been on the Emerald Princess and the Disney Wonder, both smaller ships.  I would assume Enchantment is roughly the size of these two?

I started small and slowly working up. The smaller vessels are still enormous when first traveling on one. Its all relative... They are absolutely fun as can be. You'll likely get on and say "Wow! They call this small? " Enjoy your trip. I'm sure you will...
