They claim they didn't have transportation, but were stuck on busses???  Some people just thought they were there for the day???  Something doesn't sound right...I think(just my guess) that those 200 requested to get off in New Orleans and there was a time difference between when they disembarked and when they could get their chartered jet.  They were confined to an area in the port for security reasons.    They were not just dumped, they simply had to wait for a delayed plane, but it is a better story if they were dumped.

Also, some of the best spa deals are on port days. We've found some good deals early in the day and still had plenty of time to visit the port for the day.

The specials will vary, but I'd head up there right after you eat lunch. There's limited times on embarkation day due to muster drill.

When you board you will receive the flyer with the specials.  They book up fast so get on board early.  Sea days are the second fastest too book up.  

I think people will find Royal does the right thing.  They always have for me.  In the end things always work out.  

The expert meteorologist can’t even predict this historical storm so try to imagine RCCL trying to make sure vacations are not ruined and safely executed. People are going to bitch no matter what just because you can’t please everyone. If people used a travel agent and purchased the correct travel insurance, there should be no issues taking a cruise in the middle of hurricane season. Don’t wait for RCCL to make a decision if you are not comfortable for your individual situation. I am sure they are doing the best they can with the resources they have. Remember most of the employees are based in Miami area, which is going to be impacted as of today, and needs to secure their family and homes. In short just saying EVERYONE needs to be patient as no one knows what is going to happen. (Off soapbox now)

I was looking up the same things for our visit there and the parasailing weight limit is definitely a combined weight, not per guest. I didn't see anything about a weight limit for Jet skis.

I wonder if it is the same Youtuber who got most of the facts and projections wrong when Oasis was damaged in the crane incident.  
Some bloggers and vloggers will do anything to get clicks and followers, even make stuff up.

I was able to have the same table/waitstafff/time for MTD Harmony. I've heard this doesn't always work. A friend was just on Adventure last week and said this did not work for his group. He had long wait times and not always the same staff.

Ships are dangerous......so are airplanes, trains, automobiles, movie theaters, malls, Walmart, schools, concerts, night clubs, riding a bike, riding a motorcycle, scuba diving, foul balls at baseball games, swimming, hurricanes, tornadoes, mud slides, forest fires, ice storms, earthquakes, getting too close to wildlife, boating, guns, poor diets, obesity, smoking, alcohol, second hand smoke, vaping ......
 
I guess I'll just assume a fetal position in my basement and hope for the best.

I for one have stopped trying to promote the cruise industry and agree wholeheartedly with everything they said.
The last thing I need is more people to book cruises (driving up the cost for me).  
It's terrible out there folks.  The sea was 90' yesterday (away from the Promenade deck).  I hear that 99% of all cruise ships got stranded (away from a boring existence) yesterday.  Everyone on board is sick (of being on land).  I went missing (and none of my clients know I'm on a ship).  There were 75 mph winds (for anyone driving on the interstate with their hands out the window in Florida). 
Yep, it's not a life for the faint of heart.  Avoid cruising (so I can book cheaper cruises).
If they don't want to go, please don't try to correct them.

And to translate into proper English, it should be "Royal Caribbean IS stealing my deposit" --- Not ARE...
 
And ".....someone has taken it down do not book thru this mob" ....... I believe there should be a period (or two) in there....
 
Lesson learned here, if you want to be taken seriously, using proper grammatical skills would be a good way to start....
 
Now, they are NOT a mob ...... Secondly, when you book a cruise, a confirmation email is sent to you with all the pertinent details and legal details so that you shouldn't be surprised at what's expected.
