I've been asked for our invitation before entering quite often over the years for verification.

i've seen plenty of guys in jeans and polo shirts on "formal" nights, not a big deal anymore.

I always thought nacho cheese was fake no matter where it can from !!
Nacho cheese is pasteurized American cheese w/ seasoning and canned. Think Velveeta in a can. This is pretty far from real cheese as it gets.

I recently enjoyed a thrill waterpark cabana and had a great time. The attendant was great!
I should have thought this out ahead of time, but didn't. When it came time to tip, I had no idea how much was appropriate. I eventually decided on $10 per person that occupied the cabana. Ever since, I've wondered if I undertipped.
What does everyone think? What amount is appropriate for the attendant?
We gave $100 for the pool cabana attendant. We were pretty low key for the 4 of us

We really enjoyed the Sheraton in Old San Juan. It's centrally located and easy to walk everywhere, plus close enough for restroom breaks as you are passing by on to your next location.
Note that the hotel is NOT across from where you will board the ship! We thought we would walk across the street to board, but you actually board across the way when embarking in San Juan.

Just made the news recently, oddly enough. A performer had to cancel a planned concert because one of the members of their stage crew had an old conviction and was denied entry by CBP.
That's right. Someone in the Zac Brown Band

Yeah, if you're not doing a suite I think it'll be worth the money by Fall 2024 or 2025. Suites, however... not sure when those prices will drop to sane levels.
I'd love to do a suite on Icon. The second restaurant (Mediterranean) looks interesting, but agreed that prices need to come down. I'd book connecting balconies for 2025. Great looking ship.

We boarded Voyager today and the MDR was open to everyone 1130-130 for lunch.
I’m not sure if it’ll be a regular thing going forward, but the head waiter told me it is really reducing the congestion in the Windjammer.
Small menu with three choices each for appetizer/main/dessert
Can you share the menu?

Love the new design and the new Cloudy 9 adult areas. Like the idea of the kids area on a different deck in the back of the ship. We'll be booking this beauty

yes, you can, provided they are available. We requested one on Symphony over Springbreak 2022. They set it up each night and took it down and stored outside our room during the day, so it wasn't in the way. Made both kids very happy not having to share a bed.

I showed my 12 and 17 yr kids a $2 bill and both gave me a funny look, not sure if it was real or not. So maybe it's not just international folks who question the bills. Another one is the one dollar coins.

Anyone know how may casitas are available for rent on Oasis of the Seas? They aren't too badly prices for Apr 2023 spring break. $130 for port days and $170 for sea days.

There are lots of things to do in Miami. I would personally head to South Beach as it is a great beach with lots of great restaurants and people watching.
I second the recommendation for South Beach

MDR as well

Escargot for dinner in the MDR, buttery and probably unhealthy.
