Mine's just a hybrid of my first name and armadillo.  I don't even remember how the armadillo became my "animal" but I just say it's because it has a hard outershell and a furry belly and go with it.  ?‍♀️

I personally book all the extras you have booked.. I don't like the food in the dining room so I always get an Unlimited dining package.. The drink package is worth it if you drink 4 drinks a day and you probably will. Also Coco Beach Club pass looks amazing I am excited to do it myself.. So I personally think you booked the right things but its really up to you.

I have two more cruises booked, so I will transfer them. Is there a way to contact Danette directly?

Assuming that time off is not a factor, I would take 2 cruises in inside cabins per year. More C&A points.

I also agree that the 3 night package is a great option for your first cruise. It gives you the ability to try everything on the ship for the most part without the lingering thought in the back of your mind that your wasting money by choosing the "free" options. This will help you in the future figure out if you want to go "all in" the next time.

$50 is very generous.  Whoever said that the daily grats don’t get the room attendants doesn’t know what he** they’re talking about.  They most certainly do.  Ignore that forum. Someone is just trying to make themselves look like big spenders.  That kind are usually making up for some personal shortcoming.

Roatan is doing a major expansion of their port. Construction next to the pier could be the reason for the tender. When we were there in July, they were working on the foundations from the pier to the shore.

    Wondering the same thing.
We were on the same cruise. Walked right by her 1 night when they were on a film break. I thought they were filming an RC commercial, no my wife says, she's that Hallmark actress. Still didn't know who she was until we watched the movie, (my wife is a big Hallmark movie fan,  she tapes them all) and I realized, "Hey, we were on that cruise!" LOL.

As soon as i opened the video, I laughed. No surprise Alexa and Carlos PenaVega are pinnacles. They were in a Hallmark movie filmed on Harmony.

My question is did they actually earn the status or did they get for filming a movie onboard a RCI ship.

Yay! I hate Aquafina bottled water, so this means no more Aquafina on NCL. Now I can upgrade my drink package for my Thanksgiving cruise and hopefully get water that actually tastes good.

Scientists have done studies. They know. Here are some sources for you.

Drop a ketchup bottle on the floor, and you'll be thankful for polyethylene terephthalate, or PET, the nearly indestructible plastic used to make most containers and bottles. Drop the same bottle into a landfill, however, and you might have second thoughts. Why? Because petroleum-based plastics like PET don't decompose the same way organic material does. Wood, grass and food scraps undergo a process known as biodegradation when they're buried, which is a fancy way of saying they're transformed by bacteria in the soil into other useful compounds. But bacteria turn up their noses at plastic. Load their dinner plates with some plastic bags and bottles, and the one-celled gluttons will skip the meal entirely.
Based on this logic, it's safe to argue that plastic will never biodegrade. Of course, that's not the end of the story. Daniel Burd, a student at Waterloo Collegiate Institute, recently demonstrated that certain types of bacteria can break down plastic. His research earned the top prize at the Canada-wide Science Fair, earning him $10,000 cash and a $20,000 scholarship [source: Kawawada].Until other researchers can replicate Burd's experiment and waste treatment plants can implement any new processes, the only real way to break down plastic is through photodegradation. This kind of decomposition requires sunlight, not bacteria. When UV rays strike plastic, they break the bonds holding the long molecular chain together. Over time, this can turn a big piece of plastic into lots of little pieces.
Of course, plastic buried in a landfill rarely sees the light of day. But in the ocean, which is where a lot of discarded grocery bags, soft drink bottles and six-pack rings end up, plastic is bathed in as much light as water. In 2009, researchers from Nihon University in Chiba, Japan, found that plastic in warm ocean water can degrade in as little as a year. This doesn't sound so bad until you realize those small bits of plastic are toxic chemicals such as bisphenol A (BPA) and PS oligomer. These end up in the guts of animals or wash up on shorelines, where humans are most likely to come into direct contact with the toxins.
One solution to this environmental disaster is biodegradable plastic. There are two types currently on the market -- plant-based hydro-biodegradable plastic and petroleum-based oxo-biodegradable plastic. In the former category, polylactic acid (PLA), a plastic made from corn, tops the list as the most talked-about alternative. PLA decomposes into water and carbon dioxide in 47 to 90 days -- four times faster than a PET-based bag floating in the ocean. But conditions have to be just right to achieve these kinds of results. PLA breaks down most efficiently in commercial composting facilities at high temperatures. When buried in a landfill, a plastic bag made from corn may remain intact just as long as a plastic bag made from oil or natural gas.

Each year we cruise to celebrate another year cancer free. This cruise will be the 5 year mark. I was given a 15% chance to make it 5 years. I have every intention of making this cruise. Stage 4B endometrial cancer. I also have Lynch Syndrome which is a hereditary cancer gene that puts me at risk for another 12 cancers. So looking forward to living life to the fullest!

Did it for the first time last cruise, not sure if it was because we were in a Grand Suite, but the request was approved quickly. Helped for sleep noise and kept the room cool at night (I find it starts to get warm in the middle of the night).
