Balcony. Usually not mandatory but an Alaska cruise is an exception. I took this off my balcony right after a calving at Sawyer Glacier.

Hell, just do it. Remember, when you should find yourselves in harms way and suffer an unimaginable horror but managed to get out, you can then hire a "Miami based Maritime Lawyer" and blame the entire misadventure on Royal Caribbean. Because that's what people do.

In a related story RCI has announced that in 2020 exciting new shipwreck diving and glass bottom boat tour excursions will be offered on cruises that visit Coco Cay.

My "formal" is a pressed pair of khakis. A light blue, lightweight button down shirt. I bought some goofy nautical theme ties at a thrift shop and had them dry cleaned. I bought a pair of boat shoes 15 years ago that have never touched dry land,  just boat decks.  I am usually one of the better dressed except for those getting photos taken. My wife says I look like Thurston Howell III.

Real first name is Mike. Fuzzywuzzy is my username just about everywhere. It was a CB Radio handle I used in the dinosaur era and it made its way to the internet.
I am " retired "and so is the wife. I spent almost 40 years as a LEO and did/do related private sector stuff too. The wife was a public school teacher for 33 years.  USAF (SP) veteran.

We did our earlier cruising with the mouse because it was always with a large family group or just with our own kids. We now do it just the 2 of us. Probably gonna be with Royal alot since retirement checks don't go as far as paychecks and Bayonne is an hour and a half drive.

My wife says I am sarcastic and have a bizarre sense of humor but she's been an accomplished liar as long as I've known her.
