Here is one that I wanted to go on, but I could not figure the time off work.  It is on Athem of the Seas and does the Canary Islands.  It has 5 sea days to enjoy the ship.  This ship has enough toys to keep the kids busy.  If you can go in the fall the ship is doing the Suez Canal and that would be educational for the kids.

Just be careful if you don’t want an existing TA for the sailing you purchase next cruise open booking to have your new booking.  The app does not have an option to remove existing TA when purchasing your open booking.

Regarding the sleeping arrangements in your cabin...no, something is amiss. I would ask to speak to the head of hotel services OR show the concierge a picture of the cabin with the beds like that. It seems lazy, I think it should be rectified ( side tables in the middle) and some OBC issued to both you and your brother. That just can't be right!

That’s all we see, the flame & the smoke trail. I do have some cool pics from one launch a while ago (not great quality). I forget the exact science behind it but some phenomenon involving the sun reflecting off the gas plume produced by the rocket can cause a weird jellyfish effect…

Prior to having the pier at CocoCay…there were many times when tendering was deemed too dangerous and we had to cancel the visit to the island.
It was sad to have beautiful, calm, sunny weather with clear skies…but due to a far off storm, the sea swells were too much for the safe transfer of passengers into tenders.
This happens very frequently to that other cruise line with the dock-less island next to CocoCay.
Now, with the pier…it’s only very few and far between where a ship can’t dock at CocoCay. Usually it’s due to high winds…significant swells…or a combination.
However, one time last year we were on the Anthem and an older, smaller ship was due to dock at CocoCay before us…but couldn’t due to the wind. Instead of cancelling the visit…they waited for us to attempt docking. Apparently the Anthem had better control and more power. Capt Sreko Ban got us docked! The other ship then used the Anthem as a wind break and was able to dock. Hey, what are friends for? Mi pier es su pier!

Well it looks like we know what is eventually to come to all ships on all sailings when it comes to access to what used to be called "diamond lounge". 
This is textbook how Royal Caribbean does things too. Test it out on "one ship, just one sailing" scouts honor and then 2 minutes later it's the law of the land.

I've booked celebrity at nextcruise before.  You get the same deal as you would if you booked a royal cruise.  $200 deposit.  Increased obc. Maybe some swag.

I heard that for those Diamonds who get banned during happy hour will get vouchers for free Sorrento's pizza from 5-8

I agree, 270 is one of the coolest spaces at sea of any ship in my opinion. We would have breakfast in there sometime on Anthem. Such a cool place even when nothing is going on. 

OMG that's the worst I've seen yet !  What an insult.  They might as well have said (I guess they did, actually....) that ..."these amenities were chosen to enhance your cruise experience" !!!

I just did the final check-in for our 10-13-23 Mariner cruise and there were only 2 questions.  #1 was about 26 + weeks pregnant and #2 asked about current illness symptoms.  Gone are the old questions #1 and #2 about being vaccinated and/or boosted.
YIPPEE !!!!  Sounds like they are no longer tracking whether or not the pax are vaxxed.  VERY good news.

We are on the Holy Lands cruise, and we’re supposed to stop in Haifa(Acre) and Ashdod (Jerusalem) in a few days. The captain just announced (paraphrasing here) about half a hour ago, that we will not visit Israel due to the geopolitical situation, decision taken together with security experts and in view of the safety of passengers, staff and ship. I am sure there are disappointed passengers onboard, but I at least would not have felt safe there right now.
 
Instead we are getting to go to Bodrum in Turkey and Limassol on Cyprus
RCI excursions will be refunded to onboard account, and New excursions will appear in app tomorrow.

I also try to find one of the last remaining slot machines with handles for a good arm workout. The continuous pint of beer in my other hand is also a form of exercise. Where there is a will, there is a way.
