    My FCC does not show up on my account online.
    I booked through a TA, and the FCC email was sent to each guest individually. My TA might also have a copy, but unknown for sure.

    @Johnny Johns to echo what @CruisingNewb said, don't get hung up on the %off number because its off an onboard price that nobody actually knows for certain. All of these prices vary by ship, and sail date, and the whim of RC AI that sets the prices. I've seen DX beverage packages with two different "sales" have the exact same cost. Your best bet is to watch prices and purchase an item when it is at a price you are comfortable paying. Once you make the purchase, you can look to see if it goes cheaper, and you can cancel and repurchase the cruise planner item at the lower cost. If the price goes up, you know that you have protected yourself from that increase.
    Independent excursions can be cheaper, but you do have risks and the loss of convenience associated with booking through the ship. Good time management and pre-planning can prevent those issues from becoming a factor though. I also take location into consideration. If I'm familiar with the port, or the excursion is close to the port I may be more inclined to do an independent excursion. If a long drive is involved, I don't take that risk.

    I didn't get destroyed too bad but in switching fiance back to sharing room with me somehow they removed her C+A status... Spent hours fixing that.  But it is fixed...

    @deep1I will likely be using this method of cancellation in the next couple days, so I will let you know how it goes. Technically we meet all the sailing requirements, just decided we didn't want to go on this sailing, but I really really really do not want more FCC so we now suddenly have developed issued with the protocols 😂

    I think if you cancel their room/cruise, and use the language "due to covid protocols," you may be able to get a cash (not FCC) refund for their room. Hopefully someone with more knowledge/  understanding of cancellations can confirm/deny this...

    You can use the RC app for free with the ship's wifi. To do anything else that requires internet (incl. email, messaging, web browsing, streaming), you will need to purchase one of the packages.

    Agree with @Funeegal.  If you were to win the RU bid for a 2 BR suite you would not be able to move everyone into the 2BR and cancel the second balcony room (well, you could, but the entire booking would be repriced and your “bargain” upgrade would become a very expensive modification).   Even if the kids unofficially moved into the 2 BR suite, they would not be entitled to the suite amenities.  If you want to be together and you currently have connecting balconies, I strongly recommend that you stay where you are.

    Yes, you can call RC or your travel agent and if there's availability they can switch you. If not you can be put on a wait list, and/or ask the head waiter once onboard.

    @Cruiser4LifeCorrect, the water park ticket does not include the zipline. You would need to buy separate tickets to do both activities.

    Everyone who enters the water park needs to purchase a pass. If there's 5 of you, it might be cost effective to get a thrill park cabana

    Hi, you technically don’t need to as all you need to re-board the ship will be your sea pass, but it’s advisable. If something happened that would cause you to miss the ship, you would need your passport to at least get you to the next port to catch the ship back up.

    I've successfully whacked 2 cruises now under the "I dont like the protocols" guise and both times got a full refund, in cash, no questions asked.  
    first one was a Barbados sailing that was paid in full long ago.  we would have had to book shore excursions at all ports via Royal Caribbean if we wanted to get off the ship.  hard pass.  my travel agent balked and I said "just call them, please."  ten minutes later it was refunded.  
     
    second one was for a Freedom sailing in Feb with my S/O right before final payment was due.  Said we weren't comfortable with the new mask requirements (despite the fact I'm on Navigator as I type this) and we'd rather just go somewhere else later this year once things get a little more normal-ish.  again, no questions asked.  
    I'd call Royal and just explain the new requirements are fine for your cabin's occupants, but not for the other cabins'.  at least for me, there wasn't any pushback.  trying to reprice things for "solo" travelers gets a little weird and is probably a rabbit hole you don't want to go down.

    I'll work on the language some and refine it.  The boy refuses masks, isn't fully vacced and doesn't want to. The girl is afraid of the big bad "petri dish" and if she tests positive it could be a problem with her scholarship.

    Doing my weekly check to see if any Cruise Planner items are less than what we already paid and stumbled across this:

    A FREE excursion. Checked out and got a message that I only have complimentary items in my cart so no credit card is required.
    Details page has this note: "Entrance fee, complimentary beach chair, shower access, and a soft drink are included."
    We may or may not want to go to the beach that afternoon, but you can't beat the price!

    Non-refundable booking will be a FCC.
    For example, if you had a $250/person deposit, when you make the change you will get an FCC for $150/person.

    I also found that you could just pay for the chat function on the app, we didn't purchase an internet package on our most recent sailing and we were both able to use the chat feature just fine on the ship. AND I wasn't limited to chatting with only my hubby, as we made friends on the ship we added them to the chat, so we could communicate that way as well to make plans to meet up for late night drinks, etc.

    First, this is a private company impacting another private company. Space launches are cool, but far from the end of the world to have to push back what has become a routine operation.
    Second, cruise ships don't go and do whatever they want in port. The port and US Coast Guard approves departures. More importantly, ships have the harbor pilot onboard to navigate the port area until a ship gets out to the open ocean.
    Cruise ship isn't to "blame". It's the port and coast guard who didn't direct the ship properly and/or time the departure properly.
