Check the app for hours of MTD on your sailing.  You will likely be able to make better reservation times once on the ship.

Well, the kids are now 3 years older and the 15 year old wanted Bacon Cheese fries from Johnny Rockets today. She went down there to get a to go order but did not mention she was star class so they turned her away. She texted Allan to see if they could send her order to the room and not sure what she asked for, but there was enough fries to feed the whole family! 
 

Life lesson: Be very specific about the quantity you order. 😆

I've never had crab legs on any Alaskan sailing to date. Lobster (caribbean) tails are served on the 2nd formal night in the MDR.  They may have salmon, but I wouldn't expect it to be fabulous, Alaskan, wild-caught on the ship.
If you want really good salmon and crab, grab some in one of the ports.

Get a USB charger with multiple ports for your phones/tablets.  Mine has 6 ports, so I use that for everything except my laptop, which I plug in directly to the electrical port.

I can see it being no big deal to skip Vancouver on a closed-loop, Alaskan sailing from Seattle.
But for a Canada/New England trip - if you can't get into Canada (or don't want to get off at the Canadian ports), there's zero point doing the cruise.  Sure, Portland, ME is pretty cool, and one of our favorite ports, but Bar Harbor is a nothingburger.  And the weather isn't like the Caribbean, where you can just say screw it, no ports are fine, and hang out on the pool deck.

We are all still waiting patiently on the 2023 cruises to be announced. The issue is the ICON release is an unknown and supposed to be in 2023. Announcing a group cruise and finding out it conflicts with the first ICON sailing would be bad.
