I would just fill out the form and get assigned one. If they don't jive with you, it's perfectly acceptable to request a different one. @Beci will make sure you are taken care of!

I'm getting tired of these cruise ships stopping and helping people in "need". It's ruining my CruiseMapper experience. I'm asking for NOT on board credit if this keeps happening.

The area that the porters bring the luggage carts to is basically right in front of the elevators, so it won't be an issue to schlep them yourselves if you want. The porters seriously stand there and take your bag three feet and stern eye you for a tip 😂

If you do look for Virginia 🥰.  She's the only one I've ever dealt with there and has been amazing, even when I'm just using one of their outside tables to eat my food from Cafe Promenade. She's one of the rare folks I've mentioned on the after cruise survey by name!

When I’m on the ship and have to leave…I may feel the urge to ‘linger’….
When I’m off the ship waiting for a zero count before we can board…I get upset at the ‘lingerers’!😜

Free champagne/mimosas/rum punch - differs by ship/ venue. Some ships they have a mini entertainment demo show. Officers and captain come out and get recognized. Loyalty member count breakdown is given. New Pinnacles are recognized. Top cruisers are recognized.

I prefer the skinnier burgers at Johnny Rockets myself.

Mocktails start at $7 plus 18% gratuity. Frozen drinks are usually a little more. 

I have heard of you dining reservations causing this 2 hour block when trying to book shows.  So to me it would make sense that it applies to another resturant reservation also 

Pro tip: if you're ever not on a ship with a Giovannis Kitchen, the room service pizzas come in boxes as well...the $7.95 service fee (free if in a suite!) is worth it as you can order as many as you like 😉

The app schedules you for a 2 hour block when you make a specialty reservation which prevents you from reserving anything else during that time period.
It also does that for the first night based on what time slot you chose in the Cruise Planner when you purchased the package. It really only gets in your way when you are trying to use the app to set up your reservations once you board.  

I took my leftover pizza from Giovanni's Kitchen on Freedom with no questions asked. They put it on a plate and wrapped it in plastic for me.  Later on I saw they had boxes, so not sure why they didn't think about that earlier on but who knows 😂 I enjoyed eating the pizza later on that evening; even cold it was still great.

Ok, I get it, gas prices are high and we decided, at the last moment,  to fly from the Gulf Coast of Texas to Seattle. I don’t understand why you chose this forum to complain about that issue - the high price of gas has nothing to do with cruise ships or cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean. Not only that, you or someone you know chose to go on an Alaskan cruise- no one twisted your arm.  You could have switched to a cruise that sails from a port on the East Coast. Everyone not living on the West Coast has to decide whether the ability  to visit Alaska is  worth the extra travel expenses - just a thorn to go along with the roses. 

I am not sure what you were trying to accomplish by submitting your original post. You stated that you enjoyed the cruise but pretty much complained about the food, the itinerary being changed (due to a medical emergency), having to stop in B.C., the fact that someone caught Covid, and so on and so  on. What part of the cruise or Alaska did you enjoy? I’m sure some of us would appreciate more details about the positive experiences.  
 
Or were  you merely venting and expecting sympathy? 
 
 

This blog is absolutely biased and rightfully so. It was created and patronized by royal fans. Most people in here are realistic about any royal shortcomings generally speaking however. We view royal like a family member, we can talk smack about when appropriate but will defend it to others when appropriate as well.
