I just love not having to worry about a bill at the end.  We can run around and have fun and do whatever we want and its already paid for.

I never seen lava flows and margaritas on the menu. Do you order them outside the list? How much do they cost compared to cocktails on the list?

This would be my husband and I. We do almost no drinking at all at home (ok except for the last couple weeks) but certainly got our money’s worth with the UBP on our last cruise.  Much like the Disney Dining Plan, I like the all inclusive feel of having the package prepaid (at Disney, I always go when it’s free).  We come close enough to even to make it worth the convenience for me.

My favorite margarita is the specialty in Boleros called the Granrita.  (I think that is the name)  It is a traditional margarita with Patron, but they add in Gran Marnier too.  The Gran Marnier just makes the drink soooo much smother going down.

Yes, you can order them outside the list.  The lava flow is just a pina colada with strawberry puree, so anywhere that has a blender can make one.  The cost will be the same as the other frozen drinks.  A margarita on the rocks is a very basic drink you can get from any bar; if you want a frozen one of course the bar needs a blender.

We have the Villa suite booked on Liberty and for 7 people it came out to 1,741 per person.  Thats with insurance and gratuities included.

Out of the nine cruises under our belts we have not had one issue with ANY sort of bugs.  Haven't even seen an ant onboard! Even if there was an issue I know enough to know that it would be handled by the staff onboard.  RCCL does an amazing job of taking care of their guests as well as their brand.  Bed bugs are a hot topic, and if they did have any issues and not take care of them promptly that would create some extremely horrible press for their brand.  You really don't have much to worry about!  Take your cruise and relax! Leave all the stress at home where it belongs!

I just got off the phone checking on our April 2021 sailing on Liberty.  Price would drop 400 but we would lose our onboard credit so its basically a wash.  Guess Ill keep checking.

+1 on that.  $3281 off on my RLS for that sailing.  Same thing, second reduction in a matter of weeks.

If I remember correctly, on Liberty last year it covered up to 12 dollars per drink.  Anytime we ordered some wine or something that was over it was on the receipt we signed.  98% percent of everything was covered and there were no surprises is what Im trying to say right after waking up and no coffee yet..LOL

In general, the consensus appears to be, if you were already planning on purchasing internet for everyone, then the Key is a good value. You will get embarkation lunch from Chops (usually served in the MDR) and have access to reserved seating at the theaters, which are things that JS normally do not get.  There will be a location (usually the main theater) where you can drop off your carry-on luggage at embarkation and it will be delivered to your room.  This is a perk that neither suites nor senior C&A members get !  There are also special reserved times for certain activities (flow rider, etc) but generally I’m not sure this is a perk that many take advantage of.  Then, there is a special disembarkation day breakfast and escort off the ship.  Overall, I think that, for new RC cruisers (someone who has minimal C&A status), the Key is a nice program.

We don´t seem to spend that much time in the cabin so we go with the balcony, 1st cruise we were on the Liberty, cabin overlooking the promenade. It was nice but once we did the balcony on the Anthem we were sold.

My parents are appalled that we are booked for two more cruises.  They say ships are dirty.  Honestly, after going on one I think going to the grocery store is 100 times worse- there’s just no way to track it since everyone is not in the same place for a week plus.  Not once did I go into the bathroom and there wasn’t some attendant cleaning it and it seemed like the second I touched something on the ship someone was right behind me wiping it down.  Our stateroom bathroom was cleaned twice daily.  One of the cleanest places I have ever been!  Much judgement towards my husband and I are from people who have never been.

Yes, you will still need to purchase internet. That is a perk only on the ships that have Royal Suite Class -- Allure, Harmony, Oasis, Symphony, Anthem, and Ovation.

There are probably only a few options available this early. I think most stuff will start to open up when you are under a year. I don't know if you booked through a TA or online. Online will tell you all the perks you have available based on your class. However, I think that only grand suites and above, possibly only on oasis or quantum class ships, get Voom included in the fare.

My wife and I purchased the Key on Liberty and we really enjoyed it.  We utilized every benefit of the Key and for us it was worth it.  Not having to wait in line at all was worth every penny by itself and then you throw the internet in with it....
