No, we are actually on Oasis, but the other poster explained it as it only shows on the current sailing, which is weird, but oh, well....

During restart and since the restart they spray all guest areas and hallways with a fog like spray to kill any virus material lingering around.  There is a period of time where all crew leave the area and return only when it's safe.
I know people who are frequent cruisers who ignore the signs and go to their cabin during this time.  Smart or dumb?  You decide.  There is a reason why they are telling consecutive cruisers to stay out right now.  Despite that some people don't listen and they do what used to be allowed pre-pandemic when staying in the same cabin.  I choose to listen and stay out.
Most of the time pre-pandemic if I was changing cabins I would make a point of finding my new future cabin attendant as the cruise was nearing its completion.  Many times they would prioritize my cabin so it was ready early.  This wasn't required of them and not all of them did it.  Since the restart some ships move crew around assigning them new groups of cabins for the next cruise.  That makes it impossible to visit your next cruise cabin attendant because no one knows who it might be.  Each ship has their own practices.
It's harder to predict what your experience will be right now.  Listen, read and go with the flow.

The Bistro wasn't appearing in my upcoming Oasis sailing either, and I've got a reservation. What I needed to do to see the Solarium Bistro in the restaurants' list was to switch to the current, happening right now sailing of Oasis.

For question 2, you need to pack everything but your hanging clothes in the wardrobe.  They will move your luggage and hanging clothes to the new cabin.
Early on during your first cruise, and the lines at guest service have dissipated, ask them to verify you're on the list of consecutive cruisers.  Near the end of cruise one they will deliver a set of instructions for you to follow to transition to cruise 2.

I'll go one step further when it comes to bringing back sealed food or drink: put it in your bag so that it's not visible to the naked eye. The bag scanner will see it, but I feel it's less likely someone will say something about the food.

Nothing open (opened package of chips, open water bottle/soda), nothing fresh (sandwich, fruit, etc), nothing alcoholic.  The first 2 you would have to toss (if you have your own water bottle you might have to dump the contents, but not sure about that), the last would be taken from you (assuming closed container) & they will deliver it to you on the last night for you to pack & bring home.  I believe if it is food in a sealed package, you can bring it on - at least, we brought on some rum cakes we bought at one of the tours. Not sure about sealed sodas - they might let you get away with one, but not a case unless it's embarkation day.
Basically, don't plan on being able to bring anything back with you except for liquor or food that is factory sealed.

I will be sailing on Friday on Oasis and posted earlier about the parking. Based on what I gathered, they will direct you to the overflow as they let the previous cruise passengers leave. There is a possibility they open the garage once a good amount of passengers leave the multi-story lot.

MaryCS62 reacted to Atlantix2000 in Pre-boarding Covid test - 48 hours or two days?
To many people, "2 days before X" and "48 hours before X" mean exactly the same thing.  They are right when X is measured in days (the bigger unit of measure).  They are wrong when X is measured in hours (the smaller unit of measure).  The problem is Royal is not consistent is defining X as "day of departure", "boarding time", or "departure time".
I have this problem with software requirements all the time.  Client gives a non-specific requirement and gets annoyed when I try to pin them down on what they mean.  I'm sorry there are 10 different ways to interpret your requirement, but the computer is going to do exactly what I write, not what you mean!

All checked in at Port Canaveral.  Can confirm 100% all they care about is the date on Covid tests.

Hubby loves to watch people make horses patooties of themselves on the pool deck.  Bores me to tears.  I usually plop my butt in a lounger & read.  I have to say though, I have trouble going to activities.  I don’t know why.  I love trivia and am a fountain of useless knowledge so you want me on your team!  But I can’t seem to get up the nerve to go alone.  I imagine myself being that solo player at the back table by myself (although I’d still win!!!).  I used to be social and don’t know what happened.🤷‍♀️☹️

Let's get back on track to the original subject.  I sure hope they are not replacing the duck with a chicken dish.
One of the reasons I like to cruise is we eat food not on our normal menu at home like duck, lamb and even warm water lobster.
In the midwest we have plenty of great beef, pork and chicken, so I don't really want that on vacation.  Btw we also cruise to escape the cold winters, so it's not a complete deal breaker.

We do, and we've had great success, but it was a heck of a lot easier when we could see ahead of time what the GF options were.

Just a note on those passport organizers.  My wife bought these cute passport holders right before we cruises on Adventure of the Seas from Bahamas in 2021.  First thing the customs agent asked was for us to take them out of their holders.
