Last update I saw on the shipbuilder’s Facebook was they were making the anchor chains. 

I canceled my cruise planner purchase on May 9 and they told me 45 business days, so I don't expect to see it until mid July.

I'm thinking that the FCC email will go to your TA that booked that inital cruise.

Return time on the FCC can really vary.  Royal will send you an email directly and your TA (that the sailing was booked through) might also receive a copy of it.  

If you booked directly you can use the online form to cancel I’ve done two and worked as it should, if you used a travel agent then contact them..?

@crazytaxman The actual FAQs says all cruises booked before August 1st. So definitely call back as they are working from home and may not be well versed. I really feel for them as this, plus all the recent changes are messing up their mojo. Last week my TA sent me an email about a drop in fare...they weren't mine or my sail dates. I sent him an email telling him this...I also checked if my cruise prices went down and yeah like $800...and he told me there was just a mix up of dates. Just have a little patience.

Called back again and spoke to another representative at Royal and got a different answer where he said that it can be used for 2021 sailings. So apparently, no one is well verse with the new policy.

You have to make the decision to move the sailing by August 1, 2020 to take advantage of Lift & Shift.

In short, I would not recommend buying stock simply to get the discount.  But if you see a good investment, then the shareholder discount is an added bonus.

Just get the passport book. Not even sure why you need the passport card since that is only good for land entry. If you fly or miss your ship, only the passport book will allow you entry.

Would love to also see Royal be creative with their itineraries. A person can only go to the same ports so many times.

Royal would do wonders with a private island(natural or man-made) or private resort on the Mexican Riviera

It is a sad week for Galveston Cruises. Three passengers from the Carnival Vista were killed in an accident in Belize on Wednesday  during a shore excursion when their van was hit head on by another vehicle. A passenger from the Liberty of the Seas was killed during a shore excursion when the van she was riding in lost control and flipped. She was ejected through the front windshield when the van suffered a tire failure and flipped. Other members of her family were also injured in the incident. All five passengers who were killed were from the Dallas area. Please remember these families in your prayers.

Yes...sigh.... I broke down and booked a loft suite because the prices were so good. I usually don't give O-class much consideration but between Matt's blog and Chris's videos and this price, I might as well give it another try?

Booked for this cruise too. Was able to book a 2BR Grand Suite for the same price as a 1BR Grand Suite. The rates were really reasonable compare to Christmas or New Years.

Easier to have one booked and decide later to cancel it than to decide you want one and have there be none to purchase !
