Eyeonhevn Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 We have an upcoming cruise in July on Harmony of the Seas and I'm looking at internet pricing. Right now it's on "sale" for 22.99. Can I expect it to go down more? I'm not sure I've paid that much before - I thought it was less. There are two of us and I'm going to get one account with two devices. 8 nights. 2 devices. 295.92. Doing the math I guess that's 18.44 per day per device? (Not sure I'm doing the math right...?) Quote
smokeybandit Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 RC likes to throw random internet sales in there, but anymore they seemed more intent on pushing beverage package sales over everything else. RCIfan1912 and BigKarl 2 Quote
Pattycruise Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 On some of my sailings it is $18…but-these are shorter sailings. The price can vary ship to ship and even from week to week on the same ship. Just keep checking. If you buy it today you can cancel and repurchase if it goes on sale RCIfan1912 1 Quote
Ryan79 Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 I’ve seen it go down to 17.99. Will your specific sailing go that low? Who knows? Quote
smokeybandit Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 Lowest I've seen lately was 15.99, that was Brilliance over Christmas during that random one-day internet sale RC did. It was 18.99 at one point for Freedom in March, but I didn't pull the trigger and had to settle for 20.99. Lowest lately for Vision in July has been 18.99. Quote
Dad2Cue Posted April 19 Report Posted April 19 Nothing is standard when it comes to Royal pricing. I have noticed the listed onboard price for internet is a bit higher. The sale prices seem the same or maybe a bit lower. I have $17.99 per day on a couple of future cruises. Some other cruises are $22.99 per day on sale. The only standard price on anything I have seen used to be the coffee card for $31 and never on sale. Now that has changed and it goes on sale for $27.99 with a $35 onboard price. Quote
Traveling Mike Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 this is what I am paying for my current cruises for one device one person: 13 day cruise: 17.99 15 day cruise: 18.99 7 day cruise: 17.99 13 day cruise: 16.99 25 day cruise: 18.88 Quote

Zenra Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 For my upcoming 5N Ovation out of LA it's "on sale" at 25% off for $20.99 (Base price of $28.99). Haven't bought it yet but work might pay for it if I don't so I'll wait it out. SeaSunnedTraveler 1 Quote
SeaSunnedTraveler Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 We have 16 or 17/day on our next 3 sailings, all on Mariner. They have all been random, 1-day sales. Quote
Mturk Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 Noticed today that for our May Freedom cruise, the price dropped from $18.99 to $16.99 so I rebooked with the newer price. Quote
dustfsu Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 (edited) There is a great article that @Matt did that has a free tool website that shows you the highest and lowest for all onboard purchases and will alert you when it goes down. It is free to sign up. I think it is a great tool to use. But here is the site he talked about. Still read the article on how to use it. https://royalpricetracker.com/ Edited April 21 by dustfsu updated Eyeonhevn 1 Quote
smokeybandit Posted April 21 Report Posted April 21 After royal price tracker didn't notify me of (or even know about) prices drops on both internet and an excursion for an upcoming cruise, I'm not sure how good it is. RCIfan1912 1 Quote

Not sure if you have to leave your search on the page to notify you or you just have to go back on the site to see if it had a change that updates daily. I tried to see if there was a way to click on the ones you want to be notified, but not sure that truly works. Quote

You have to click the the little pencil under the purchase price and put what you paid and then if it goes below that it will email you and let you know. Quote

But another cruise that same day did give me a notification. Quote

smokeybandit Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 I got a price drop alert for internet for my October cruise. However that site hasn't told me that an excursion I have booked dropped or that internet dropped for my July cruise and those prices went down 2 days ago. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
BigKarl Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 I literally just received this advertisement in my mail account less than an hour ago. I clicked on the offer and saw that it is sold out and not to pick up the phone! I logged in to my account to check the price and low and behold it is available on my account for more than the sale price. Seems odd that I can still get Internet at a higher price but that Cheaper Internet sold out. Maybe they ran out of the "Cheaper" bandwidth? WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
