warrenz1963
I've never been to Perfect Day at CocoCay, and my research on YouTube so far hasn't given me an answer. How loud is the music in Chill Island? How loud is the music in Hideaway Beach? Which area would you find more relaxing based on the music playing? The presence of children is not the issue, the potential annoyance of the music is. Are there even any "quiet" places in either area? Baked Alaska, Heymarco and WAAAYTOOO 2
AshleyDillo
Chill Island is likely to be quieter than Hideaway. It used to be the loud music was at the Oasis Lagoon but Hideaway Beach opened and they moved the DJ over there. It wasn't too obnoxiously loud when I was at Hideaway, though. I do think Chill would bring the quiet now that the Oasis Lagoon is quieter. DoomSlayer

smokeybandit
I never had any issues with music volume, unless it was some putz passenger with a bluetooth speaker. TessFromFlorida, RCIfan1912, Baked Alaska and 2 others 4

Pattycruise
No music at chill island except for inconsiderate passengers on occasion who think you’re there to listen to their music. hideaway has the DJ, and also has a live band (haven’t seen them in 3 visits). I imagine if you chose the far end of the beach at Hideaway it would be quieter. warrenz1963, JustMeJoe and TessFromFlorida
loki007
we were just at Hideaway. we grabbed chairs as soon as we walked in and found them far enough from the pool that the DJ wasn't too loud. We loved our day there.
Matt
Chill Island has no music. They purposefully dont play music there to adhere to the name. Doesn't mean it's a library, just that the line doesn't try to convey the party vibe there. Baked Alaska

I don’t wanna be forced into the Hideaway just to enjoy the DJ. Is there anywhere else that got DJ vibes like Oasis Lagoon that don’t have an admission charge. Matt
I believe DJ MP3 is at Oasis Lagoon. There's still music there. Gilley and OCSC Mike 1

FWIW, there's still music played at Oasis Lagoon. We always sit close enough to hear it but never considered it loud pre or post-DJ. TBH, I didn't even realize the DJ was gone a few weeks ago when I was there. Music sounded the same to me. That said, I'm also there to just chill, eat, and drink, not looking for a party atmosphere. Gilley
I have about 20 first time cruisers traveling with me on Icon next month, I have been telling them about Oasis Lagoon so I’m glad to hear the music is still there. OCSC Mike
