Club Royale Perks: Wine, S&S Credits exc

Ha!  Definitely not premium wines by any means but I don’t complain.  Often, between C&A Society, Club Royale, Beverage Services and Suites comp’ed wines, we end up giving bottles away.  The Asst. Casino Hosts are usually VERY generous, but I do tip all the crew in the casino throughout the cruise.

Day 7 on Icon and it’s been a royale butt kicking from the casino. I did receive a bottle of Mondavi “vintage 2020” and a nice 9000 point certificate. The casino is very nice with plenty of space and machine/table variety. I return to Icon for Thanksgiving and hope to turn my luck around. Icon has been AWESOME outside the casino!!!!!

As Signature with Club Royale, we will typically get at least 1 bottle of wine, a bottle of champagne, and a plate of fruit from Club Royal on a 7-N.

Right now I have 7 distinct free cruise offers.  I typically get a mailer every other week showing a specific offers and what ships & dates apply. Even though we sail about every 6 weeks and earn 5000-7000 points, our free offers have been cut back mostly to 4/5 nights from 7-N on far fewer ships.

I noticed in February the Instant Cruise Certificate points for a Jr Suite went up from 6500 to 9000 pts.  6500 was very doable.  9000 will be a stretch in April on the Harmony.

These are certainly dis-incentiving my future play.

So for signature, you get a bottle of wine, Champagne & a plate of fruit on first day of every cruise?  I just turn signature, is that what I should be getting on my up coming cruise.  I do average 5000 to 9000 points per cruise.

Congratulations on Signature!  That is AWESOME.👍🏻  Just under the wire to start over April 1st.

Sorry, I did not mean to mislead you.

Normally, my wife and I each get a bottle of wine or a champagne from Casino Royale for our points status.

We’ll get a bottle of wine & strawberries from C&A for D+.

Typically we get another bottle of wine along with daily fruit plates, cheese plates, cookie plate, or petit fours from Beverage or Guest Services, I assume for being Suites guest.  Often they just arrive without indication who it’s from.

in total, 3-4 bottles of wine in our suite during a 7-N cruise.

Oh no worry.  For now as being a diamond member, I do get chocolate cover with strawberry or some pasty.  I also got a bottle of wine from the casino whenever I reach 2500 points during the cruise time.  If I hit over 5000 points, I get another bottle of wine later on that cruise..  I am looking forward for the Free internet as part of signature benefit.  Plus I heard there's a signature cruise and it could be possible from Symphony sailing from Cape liberty.  Which is only 30 mins drive for me perfect timing.  🙂

Congratulations again KevinK!  It’s a great club to be in.  Here is slot tournament we have been invited to.  It might be regional, we live in TX. Unfortunately, I can’t make it, I’ll be on a mission trip to Ghana and won’t make it.

2024 SLOT TOURNAMENT SERIES - HARMONY 08/17/24

A cool thing about Signature, an Assistant Casio host will find you at a game your first evening in the casino and introduce themselves and welcome you. They remember your name and check in with you during the week while you are playing.  All the casino host(ess) are beneficial to be very kind to.  Perks from Club Royale as a Signature dwarf the C&A perks by miles.

Lots of free cruise offers…about two per month.  Club Royale is a major reason we are loyal to Royal.

Thanks,

Is nice to be in the club.  I been prime since my first cruise with Royal 3 years already.  As a prime, I been getting pretty good offer at least one or two offers per week.   I though once became signature I would see a better offer..  But as of now, I don't see any better..  Still same as Prime, I though at least once a while I would be getting some Jr. suite offer..  But haven't see it yet.  Before I became signature, I did get that slot tournament series, actually there were two, one just expired.  There been too many offers I didn't get to used it and let it expire.  Just wish I have more vacation days or I can do remotely.  Or maybe retired.  Hopefully starting April 1, I would see some jr. suite offer.

At least you're getting some offers !  Ours have dried up completely.  We are both Prime

I see this confusion a lot so I'll try to clear it up some.  Offers aren't based on your status, they are based on your average daily theoretical loss (or THEO).  Think about it this way, which player is more valuable to the casino?  Player A who goes on a single 3 day cruise but gains 25,0000 points (extremely high theo), or Player B who cruises 100 days a year at 500 points/day average (much lower theo)?  Both are signature players and Player B will actually have twice as many total points (50,000 to 25,000), but Player A will have a theo that's approximately 15-20x Player B.  Therefore the casino expects to make 15-20x more money per day from the play of Player A, hence they will be willing to spend more to try and get Player A onboard (i.e. more and better comps).
TLDR; don't compare your total points (i.e. status) but your average points/day for a better comp comparison.

To take it a step further, if we use slots as an example of the type of play for both, Player A would be coining in almost $42k/day while Player B would be coining in $2500/day.  At an 80% average payback (simple example, no one knows exactly what the rate of the machines are), Royal would expect to make about $8400/day on average off of the play of Player A, while "only" $500/day on average off of the play of Player B.

Regardless, it’s important to note how profitable the casino and its devoted players contributions are to the companies bottom line. A bottle of Mondavi 2020 is an insult to players gambling 5 figures over the course of a seven day cruise.
