We are booked on the Radiance OTS May 31st to June to June 7th on the Northern Passage way. We will be flying into Vancouver BC on the May 30th, the day before we board the ship. Looking for some good hotels, taxi costs to the port, etc. Thanks!😎

Fly into Vancouver, take the airport train downtown (plenty of room for luggage).

There are several hotels downtown within walking distance of the port.  Pan Pacific gets the attention since it's literally right there at the port, but it's expensive and may not have the room layouts you'd want if you're traveling with more than 2 people.

I've stayed at the Westin that's right on the harbor there. Not as convenient to the terminal as the Pan Pacific but very nice and if you get a room facing the harbor, great views. Also easy access to Stanley Park.

For my next cruise I'm staying on Robson Street at the Blue Horizon which is a few blocks away from the water but it gets good reviews and is in a good location. Since my stay is post cruise I booked an excursion which will drop me off at the hotel after so I haven't looked into the cost of taxi/uber

If you want to stay right by the terminal you will want PanPacific (right on top of terminal). Or Fairmont Waterfront (across the street from terminal). There are several others very close by including another Fairmont, Westin Bayshore, and Marriot. I should warn you that most of these hotels while expensive, are dated. They are well kept obviously but not necessarily as modern as you would expect for the prices. If you are looking for something cheaper there is a Sandman a couple blocks away or your regular assortment of airport hotels.

For transportation the skytrain runs between the airport and waterfront as the most economical option or you can use uber or taxi.

I stayed at the Quality Inn Airport South. It had a free shuttle from the airport, free breakfast and shopping/dining nearby. Cost was much cheaper than closer to the port.

On the other hand, it wasn't a scenic part of town. Uber ride next day was about 30 minutes.  I  don't remember the cost of the uber.

I stayed at the Delta Marriott. Walking distance to the port and train station and a nice spot for breakfast around the corner.

We stayed here also.  My friend was on a knee scooter so walking was out so they hotel let his airport shuttle driver take us and drop us off for $25 cash.  That worked for us and he got to keep the cash himself.  Win-win for all involved 😉

We had a cruise tour in July, we stayed at the "Auberge Vancouver Hotel".  It is 2 blocks from the terminal, and 2 blocks from the train station.  It was the easiest thing to take the train from the airport and walk to the hotel and then in the morning walk through the small park to the terminal.  I think the train was $9.00 or something like that.  The prices were reasonable and the rooms were clean and spacious.  Our friends room even looked out at the terminal.

We booked the River Rock Casino hotel for next May. Our flight is wheels down in Vancouver at 9:00 pm local time, which for us will be 1am. So I wanted something close to the airport so we could get to sleep as soon as possible since we are not a good group when cranky.  There is a train station in the hotel, so next morning will just be get on the train and head to the port.
