Canada Cruiser
Hi, looking at these 2 ships for a trip, was wondering if there were any significant differences other than the class and age. Have watched a few videos and both seem to be the same. Cheers
PPPJJ-GCVAB
I’ve been on both and would choose Freedom over Adventure any day! Adventure needs a nice update…but that’s just my opinion.
Matt
Freedom is a Freedom Class, while Adventure is a Voyager Class. That means Freedom is a bit larger, and also has been upgraded in 2020. Adventure did not receive similar updates (she was last updated in 2016 and 2018). Both are good ships for different reasons. OCSC Mike
I would much prefer Freedom. Size difference is pretty minor but I like having more included and/or low cost food venues like Playmakers and El Loco Fresh like Freedom has from being upgraded. Not many choices on Adventure. LCWind
Just got off Adventure yesterday. Although I enjoyed the cruise, I would rather sail on Freedom. Food at MDR was somehow subpar and service was slow. WAAAYTOOO and Neesa
Paid4c4
I've been on both and prefer Freedom especially after the renew. Bill
teddy
I’ll always have a soft spot for Adventure, but unless we were booking for a specific itinerary that only could be had on Adventure, we’d pick Freedom. Neesa
Fuzzywuzzy
We love the Adventure, having sailed on her 3 times. More so than Anthem and Brilliance which we also enjoyed. We plan to sail on Liberty out of Bayonne next summer (probably a B2B), Ill let you know then what we think of Freedom Class.

Unless it gets some upgrades, I wouldn't let Liberty represent Freedom class as a whole. I would sail Freedom with upgrades like Playmakers and ELF and I have sailed Indy with Playmakers and Fish N Ships... I wouldn't sail Liberty right now for the same reason I have no interest in Adventure. Since you loved Adventure you won't be missing those things I guess. Freedom class in general is not very different from Voyager class. It's just stretched out so the Promenade is longer, for example, and that's how Sorrento's came to be its own location. I can't think of a reason you would dislike Freedom class if you like Voyager class. teddy
smokeybandit
I would pick Freedom for reasons already mentioned. But I wouldn't hesitate to book Adventure, either. teddy and JustMeJoe
