NEbluebird
Can a person sit on their balcony nude while at sea as long as you don't stand up to the railing? Saddie and CruisingKitty 1
JLMoran
You can, but I don't recommend it. Depending on your location, people fore and aft might have a clear view onto a decent chunk of your balcony space. And on some ships, cabins on higher decks are able to see the balconies of cabins lower down. All of this is assuming an ocean view balcony, not something like a central park / boardwalk balcony on Oasis class ships where you have the people on the other side of the ship able to see everything. twangster
There is no rule against it. Someone I met at Diamond happy hour told me their adults kids enjoy "naked breakfast" on their balcony, something I've never heard of before. To each their own. CruisinUpinLife
Also depending on your location, you could be in direct view of a ship camera like we were...but everyone has different comfort levels with their own bodies. Lovetocruise2002
Just as long as you understand that your balcony is "not that private". Ogilthorpe, CruisingKitty, ellcee and 1 other 1
F1guynz
If you do the bridge tour you can see they have a good view of all the balconies from the wings down each side of the ship. They even have binoculars if something catches their eye They may even send a naked naked naked call on the Internal PA rjac, WAAAYTOOO, JLMoran and 4 others
fonemanbob
And a sunburn will be a sad way to spend the cruise. Or perhaps seeing yourself on you tube. Worse yet being arrested for indecent exposure in a foreign country. Ogilthorpe and CruisingKitty 1

Worse yet being arrested for indecent exposure in a foreign country. To be fair, the OP did say "while at sea", which does strongly suggest it was only being considered for sea days. That's why I was only offering the considerations of more visibility from one's neighbors than might be thought possible from the description of "private balcony" by Royal. @NEbluebird, I hope it's clear that while there is some gentle ribbing we are still trying to give helpful and constructive answers. Lovetocruise2002
Even while at sea, you can still see in between most of the balconies. Just be aware.
