    That's all I saw about it - I didn't get to the payment page. I would assume if you book online through a 3rd party like Costco or Expedia, that their payment process screen would be different because they deal with more than one line.

    knock on wood for our family as well!!!  The Indy came back in Dec 2017 with 322 and we were on the next sailing for Christmas no less, we did not get it.  It's call good hygiene.

    In know this isn't exactly what this board is for but I have to be tested today and my wife. A guy I work with and his wife both tested positive and he is very sick. I mean bad flu sick, not hospital sick. His wife is not sick other than no sense of taste or smell, no flu like symptoms. I sit next to him at work in the morning waiting for our orders, lunch and before we go home at the end of the day. They have 4 kids too so its a really big mess. 
    We have no symptoms, no fever, nothing so far. I'm really freaked out about getting this thing up my nose that is for sure, really nervous. Hopefully the results come quick. My friend got his the next day when they told him a few days. To bring this back to cruises a little bit, we are booked for Oasis in Sept. will we sail, I hope so but who knows? I was confident but less so now. With this crisis I don't know what is to come.

    @RBRSKI Definitely better but still vastly different as I view it about the process. Schools give back tuition on the daily..because students drop out often. Cruises keep your money, refunds are rare..I mean we pay months or years in advance to get the best rate. Since cruise fares are often sold at a detriment, it is safe to say RCCI tries to earn off the balance. Making the money tied up, add in the automatize process and boom...long processing time. Also it seems like they don't process until the date of the cruise, which they definitely should have disclosed.I hope everyone starts to receive their refunds soon.

    That's why I think the CLIA has a right to say the cruise line industry is getting pick on vs other industries similar to them.

    Sure do.  The Cruise cancellation was on March 25 and the Cruise Planner purchases was on April 10.  Hope this helps.

    OK maybe this is a better Analogy which may also be seen differently by others, but what's great about it is that it's all based on opinion.
    Colleges and Universities would have never thought they would be refunding tuition or dorm fee's.  My son's university (which is not a small university), published how refunds would be processed with specific instructions, amounts, and dates.  They even had two options, which I am sure makes things more difficult for them.  Kinda like Royal.
    This was requested a week ago and guess what!!!  Got an email yesterday that funds were deposited into my account this morning.  FLAWLESS! 
    I honestly think something is going on with Royal.  And this feeling is only being fueled by the lack of communication, different explanations by agents, and lack of refunds. 
    Just show me the "Money".  What movie? A little Friday Humor!

    I hear ya, and understand to a certain extent. 
    My concerns have moved from waiting patiently for our my money back to are we going to get it at all?  Your mind starts to wonder what the heck is going on! 
    Unfortunately, I think this is going to be a topic until more people report refunds have been issued.

    Let's do a little test!  I just have to remember which thread I posted this on so I'll take a picture of it!
    My cruise on June 6th was updated today in the app showing cruise was cxl'd.  I will choose a FCC which means I don't have to do anything.  According to the web site I should expect this on Friday May 22nd. 
    I promise not to mention this subject until then as I will also put a reminder in my phone to re-visit this post on this day!  Attached is a copy and paste from RCCL site.
    • We will automatically issue you your Future Cruise Credit (FCC) via email. So, there’s nothing for you to do! You can expect to receive your FCC by:
    ◦ Monday, April 13th, 2020, if your sail date was on or before April 10th, 2020, or on Ovation of the Seas April 11th, 2020, Radiance March 14, 2020, Jewel of the Seas March 19 – May 5, 2020, and all April 2020 Spectrum of the Seas sailings.
    ◦ Monday, April 30th, 2020, if your sail date was April 11th – May 11th, 2020, including Alaska sailings departing May 12th – June 30th 2020, Empress of the Seas June 1st, 2020 & June 12th, 2020 sailings, and May 2020 Voyager of the Seas sailings (excluding May 25th, 2020 sailing)

    I know FCC and Refunds have been the majority of the conversations on this blog lately but I think we all have valid reasons we are talking about it.  Imagine, if they gave us a clear update on why things are being held up, we could go back to talking about fun things!

    I get venting, really I do. That said there was one member who posted rough 50times in the same month they joined. That’s excessive.  Sorry if I hit too close to home but seeing the same negativity from the same small number of people makes me want to vent too.
    May be I’ll post the anti vent every time I see a repeat complainer and the the complainers can just not open those topics. Work for you?

    All of this could be a mute point if the following were to happened:
    The person in charge of social media content on the WWW for Royal,  read and  listened to our concerns and fixed them immediately. (I know someone is out there) Maybe a person on this forum that may have a closer connection to Royal than the rest of us, tell them our concerns. (I know someone is out there) Please remember this is just an opinion.

    A little analogy, if we have some incredible Americans that can create a complex machine like a ventilator in a month, is it asking too much for our refunds to be credited in that same about of time.

    This goes back to the numerous times people have said on this blog, they can instantly charge your cc, it's so fast that the minute they hit charge my app "dings" indicating a charge was put thru and my money has been taken away from me instantly.  So with that in mind, I have a very hard time with the process they have in place.  It seems like its from the stone age.  Why can't they front the funds from the FCC they know they are going to have to issue. Wait a minute that crazy talk! 
    We are never gonna win folks.

    I have been waiting patiently.  I haven't called them about refunds.  Should I call them to find out why I OWE them anything??  Something tells me it will only confuse somebody.  Then, I will need to wait 60 more days for it to be processed.  Meanwhile, I just gave them $350 more for the recent cruise planner sale purchases---even though they owe me $1000 in cruise planner purchases from the cruise that was cancelled.  It is somewhat ironic that I would probably put down a deposit on another cruise in 2021...IF the refunds ever get processed.

    Ok I can understand everybody’s frustration here. I personally am waiting for around $7000.00 refund to my credit card. I had two cabins on a May 2nd cruise. On the other hand nobody saw this coming. And yes the poor guy on the end of the phone probably doesn’t have all the info he needs from management . And yes Royal Caribbean at some point needs to be more transparent and communicate better with its customers. So personally I’ll wait patiently for all my refunds for a while yet . I also am waiting for my %125 OBC refund . And yes I have already booked a cruise in Oct on Symphony.
