Ever since my March 2022 fiasco, I always book through Air2Sea now. Before that, I used to just use them for international flights. Now, everything. I only book Delta flights and the cost is generally about $9 (per person, each way) higher than whatever Delta direct is offering. That to us is a reasonable add on cost for the pros of booking with them.
What I like about Air2Sea is not just the coverage in case things go south, but also because I can re-price my flights right up until final payment. I handle my Air2Sea on my own, because like others have said, TAs don't get commission from flights so it's not something I would want to trouble my TA with.

We were on Oasis in February, 2023. The Solarium was great for breakfast or lunch, quiet, not too crowded. For dinner you will need to make reservations.

I know it's not the information you're looking for, but out of Galveston they are usually in international waters by dinnertime.  So in reality it's only a few hours in which your preferred brand might not be available.  I'll try to remember to get a list of the brands next time, but currently I'm not due out of Galveston again until Nov.

Here is a link to the thread mentioned by @ChessE4. I'm using this thread quite a bit myself for our January 2024 Harmony sailing.

For Seattle (from the eastern time zone) I used Air2Sea last year. I liked it for the following reasons.
    1. I was able to get flight times that worked for us by Air2Sea offering flights on separate airlines without the additional charges that the individual airlines would incur for booking one-way.
    2. Thankfully, I did not need this, but they guarantee to get you to your cruise if flight issues arise by getting you on another flight/flights.
    3. Booking far enough in advance, I was able to add the cost of flights to my cruise reservation and pay it off over time instead of all at once.
    4. While the standard cost for economy flights is more than an economy flight booked directly, the airfare is refundable. (Also, the Air2Sea refundable rates are considerably less than the airlines refundable rates.)

The "Buy One, Get One 50% Off" is supposed to reflect the price for TWO after buying one full price and paying half for the other. (So, roughly 25% off for two)
    So, two at $90.00 x 1.5 = $135. $135 divided by 2 = $67.50 each (Advertised 51 cents cheaper.)
In the second example, 70% of $90.00 is $63.00

Another factor that makes the math seem fuzzy at times:
Sometimes the discount reflects a percentage off of the CRUISE PLANNER list price.
Sometimes the discount reflects a percentage off of the ON BOARD list price.
At first glance of a new sale, you might think the discount is better, but the percentage is a discount of the ON BOARD price instead of the CRUISE PLANNER price.

It's possible they have some intern looking around for hot topic things when they come up (new ship news, complaints, premiere package fiasco) but I'm pretty sure it's just a temperature gauge thing and less of a "oh let's specifically talk to this person here". Forums like this are great for them to spy on and see what we think without their direct involvement.

I experienced the same last summer - the smoothies are free but the protein power would cost you extra.  I was on the Refreshment package.

The smoothies are included, but you must pay for the protein powder if you want it added. It's still not a bad deal.

Hi Jesse. Welcome to the message boards.
Which ship are you asking about? Only Oasis-class ships have protein shakes available in the Vitality Cafe. They are included in both the Deluxe and Refreshment Beverage Packages. Sample menu attached.

I would escalate this to the housekeeping deck manager. Have him/her meet you at your cabin so you can show the issue.
I think the times I've gotten compensation from a cabin issue it's always come from this person.

They really do their best to adapt anything. Sometimes they can't (the beef pie on British night for one, specifically due to the flour in the thickener), sometimes the adaptation doesn't really come out good, but they sure do try.

I would add Enchantment to that list.  I must eat GF.  The head waiter would see me every night and plan the next meal.  The first few times I did not believe him when he said they would adapt anything.  I tried to order very different things and they tried all of them.  Most were very good.
With the old "wheat symbol" system I never asked.  Looks like "asking" is a better process.
Only one data point so far ... I will have more data by July.
    I hope that helps ...

Rhapsody, Grandeur, Vision, Freedom, Odyssey, and Quantum. They've all been top notch when it comes to accommodating GF needs.
