Correct. Royal Caribbean doesn't look at a back to back as anything other than two different reservations.
So you could L&S the first sailing, and then take a CWC for the second.

I thought the same as everyone above..... yay!  a show around a cruise ship,,,,,, hmmm, love the shots from the pool deck... not sure I am following all of this show.... BUT MAN I WANT TO CRUISE!  I did find a way to watch The Love Boat old shows..... kinda of the same reaction to those as well. ?
 

The standard has always been $100 per person for short sailings (under 7 nights) and $250pp for sailings that are 7+ nights.

Yup watched it last night for about the 8th time!  Never been on Harmony and do hope to get the chance someday.  I heard The Pena Vega's were crowned the 'Godparents' of the Symphony of the Seas!  Actually I watched a video about it and apparently they cruise quite often!  
Just checked my "days til cruise" and it is at 238!  Hey, COVID....PLEASE GET LOST!!!!   We all want to get onboard our ships and CRUISE AWAY!!!

There have been some situations in this ever changing rules with Royal where they allowed parents to take the FCC and use it.  It did depend on which person you got to help you in the call center.  I agree that the person that paid the bill should have some say so.  I was fighting with one a couple months ago and the person in the call center said if I had the kids write to say it was ok for the parents to have the FCC they would do it.... had a lot of fun asking the client of the 4 and 7 year old to have them write me an email or letter!

I'm a big M*A*S*H fan and The Love Boat is going off when I turn that on at 7:00 if watching on Sunday.

Don't forget to check those Residence rates... those have been insane lately.  Many people assume that your C & A number links your state to check for that, but it doesn't always. I was able to reprice a trip for a client and they saved over $300 per room just because they lived in TX.

They got back to me via email and it's 100% refund since we're more than 90 days out.
They also said that the free cruise offer expires in December so can't book later. BUT they said I have another offer for beginning of 2021. Calling now!

I really like Chase Sapphire.  Lyft's premium service (pink, I think) is included with the card, as is some credit for Lyft.  Also, during Covid, they have changed their reward system slightly have given 5 points per dollar on grocery store purchases.  In addition, right now, you can use points to pay for certain categories on the card and you get a bonus for that.  Math is not my thing, but it works out that points are worth about 25% more when you use them to pay qualified categories on your statement.  That's a big benefit right now, when we aren't traveling. 
I have used their lost luggage coverage, and it is fabulous.  My son's luggage was over 5 hours late, and he got a $100 to spend on clothes.  The amount goes up the longer the delay.

I've always been leery of credit cards with high annual fees, but after @monorailmedic convinced me, I'm really happy with the decision.
Terrific rewards, and the perks it offers are pretty compelling too.

The annual fee is a bit alarming at first, but once you see the perks (including the travel insurance), it’s totally worth it for us.
From a “points” standpoint, it’s good. 3X for Travel and Dining. I usually transfer those points to an airline for 1:1 redemption and use them for my flights.

Do you have to cruise out of Puerto Rico?  You can lift and shift to a Florida departure port if the itinerary length matches.

OK, I know this is WAAAY in the future, but these sorts of things have to planned out WAAAY in advance!
On April 8, 2024, the Great North American Total Solar Eclipse will sweep across the continent, with one of the best potential viewing spots being a strip on the ocean in between New Brunswick and Newfoundland / Labrador. There will also be viewing spots running from central New Brunswick WSW down through Maine, Montreal, and northern New York state.
We know that Royal did an Eclipse sailing for the last North American total eclipse in 2017; so even though this is further north and they don't normally sail that way so early in the year, I could see them making an exception. Especially if cruising is finally back to normal travel levels by then (and lord help us if it isn't!); they will probably see something like that as a HUGE draw for folks looking to see the eclipse without fighting for hotel space or a spot to view it.
So what do y'all think? Should we start pressuring @Matt now to keep an eye out for such a cruise and get it on the GC board as soon as it appears? ? Could be on Empress out of Montreal, or maybe they'll do an early NE sailing out of Boston or NJ. Cape Liberty already has 7-night Bahamas sailings in April, so I'm betting they'll have at least one sailing for this last major total eclipse in North America for the next... I think 20 years or more?
