Really? Even if  you book many months in advance?  I guess I never saw anything anywhere on maintenance of anything when I booked Disney 5 months in advance.

Yes, you can check the Park Hours for the dates you will be visiting and there you will find which attractions will be closed on that day. It has always been like this on every Disney park.

I'm going to disagree. You can't compare the two. At a Disney resort if a pool will be closed for maintenance, you will be notified at time of booking. Also the maintenance schedule for major attractions like splash mountain etc is published months in advance along with hotel pool maintenance so guests can plan accordingly to there own specific needs and wants. There is a difference.

This! When you're planning a trip to Disneyworld/Disneyland you can see in advance which attractions will be closed for maintenance so you can plan and decide if you are willing to go on certain dates.

I can tell you from experience just like on Royal Caribbean, some guests are aware in advance but most others are not. There are plenty of times people have thrown fits at the entrance to a closed ride because they had no idea it was going to be closed.

If your issue is with how maintenance gets notified to guests, I'm not going to argue with things can always be better and more transparent.

But like a theme park, cruise ships operate every day of the year and it's not unreasonable for maintenance to be necessary and areas shut down while they work on it. It stinks when it impacts your trip, but I don't believe anyone is entitled to compensation because of it.

I agree that an emergency maintenance can't be notified but a scheduled maintenance can. So I agree with you, things can always be better and more transparent, and they should be.

I really didn't know so many people were disgusted with others wearing their C&A pins.  I just may have to find mine and wear it on my next cruise.🤩

I don't think that wearing them is what bothers other people, is the people that act entitled while using them, so go ahead and wear whatever you want on your next cruise, I'm sure no one will be disgusted about it, unless you act entitled...

All the shows we attended we were directed to nice seating. At Aqua 80 we were seated one row directly behind "Star Class" .  Ice show right down front and center. We didn't do "Cats".  Only one venue, a bar, for adult comedy show, did we get no special treatment.

How early did you arrived to the shows? Did you noticed at what time they released the reserved seating for everyone else?

I just purchased Xplor tickets for our Cozumel visit Oct 5-9.

In the past, I purchased my tickets directly through Royal but this time I opted to buy directly through the Xplor site. I don't remember buying a ferry ticket when buying the excursion through Royal.

    My question is....

If you purchase excursion tickets from a 3rd party or just want to shop at Cozumel Playa del Carmen do you have to buy a ferry ticket? Where do we buy tickets? Or is this provided by Royal?

    Thanks

There are a couple of options:

so i have 3 people staying in a owners suite onboard ovtion of the seas, and we all LOVE the bathrobes they give us, but there isnt enough for all of us. can i ask for more bathrobes? or will i be charged for it. if you wanna know i am in a sky class room.

    Thanks!

You can't take te bathrobes home with you, even if you're staying on a suite. If there are 3 persons on the reservation there should be at least 3 bathrobes available on the suite, why there wouldn't be enough robes for all of you?.

P.S. It's not a "cleaner", the position is called Stateroom attendant.

We sometimes wonder...If this was posted by a real cruiser or someone just wanting to slam a cruise line or ship...Their only post and why post something like this and not come back to answer any questions?

In this case it appears that this person thought this was an official RC page.

Well this happened in the same place 2019. Now thats rare or common? Overall, at least 32 shark attacks have been reported in the Bahamas since 1749, followed by 13 attacks in Cuba during that time period, including one in 2019, according to the Florida-based International Shark Attack File.

It's very rare. According to data from the Florida Museum of Natural History, you have a 1 in 79,746 chance of dying from a bolt of lightning, compared to a 1 in 3,748,067 chance of dying from a shark attack.

  9. What really matters is citizenship, so according to RC FAQ:

    Quote

For US Sailings: Non-US Citizens will require a passport and the necessary visa for entry into the United States. On Transatlantic and Transpacific sailings European and Chinese guests will require ESTA (Europe) and EVUS (China).

    https://www.royalcaribbean.com/mex/es/faq/questions/non-united-states-citizen-travel-documentation

He needs a Mexican passport, not only his green card.
