Re: RC Shuttles - I think they run about every 30min -1hr or so, depending on how quickly the buses fill. If taking the shuttle from the train station to the port, you can reserve ahead of time, or just show up and they'll bill it to your room (12.50 euro/person). For port to train, you can also reserve before the sailing or while on-board.
I will also recommend arriving a day or two early to visit Ravenna.

I suggest you reserve ahead of time.  Go to the Ravenna tourist website.  You will see the shuttle schedule and prices there.  Ravenna is a beautiful city (UNESCO world heritage site).  If you can arrive the night before, then you can explore the city in the morning before taking the shuttle to the port.

I just ordered myself some reusable wine bags for travel. I got them from Amazon. They’re the ones with double padding, and leak-proof.  I don’t know that I can share the link on here, but you can look them up under wine sleeves.

This is the first time I have encountered it.  I booked our March 2025 cruise in May.  MTD reservations opened in late August/early September.  My previous cruises have had reservations open almost immediately.

So stoked , when life gives you lemons you make lemonade. Wife and I are staying in key west for 2 days at a hotel we stayed at in 2011 that we absolutely loved then 2 days in Miami before the Sunday November 17 departure. Royal taking care of business, getting full 10 days of points for 7 day cruise plus a bunch of refundable OBC. We will have 2 vacations in one. Let’s go !!!

If you cruise with the same people, like I do with my in-laws, you can do what we do.  Each year around Christmas, we all line up and I get a good high quality image (with my phone) that I save and use for the check in photos.  Then I have it available when I do the 1 AM check ins 🙂.  So far, we've not had to retake pictures at the port, so it seems like our process works.  
 
I treat it like a passport photo, but do allow people to wear thier glasses 🙂

i’m doing it july 27th.  did you book cruise direct with RC ?   

The real barbershop experience is difficult to find.  The haircut of my youth and early adulthood included the clipper cut, hot foam with a straight razor trim, hot towel, and witch hazel finish.  C-19 shutdowns killed many of the traditionalist barbershops unless you're near a US military installation.

All men are different, so I can only speak for myself but I can't stand going to the barber. I would not want to do it on a cruise ship either. However, maybe your husband enjoys it, I guess some men do.
Maybe just get him a nice evening that you would not have otherwise indulged in, like Chef's Table or something along those lines.

I have not tried the barber shop onboard so I am also curious to hear if others have. 
I will say that a nice trip to the barber shop on land is always good a way to spoil yourself, so if they are good on the ship I imagine it would also be a nice experience. 

Or maybe a Solo Cruise for your Husband and he gets lucky!
