(And even the second one is unclear...first it says cruise lines must screen pax (not test), then it goes on to describe testing requirements.)

So when are they getting rid of the pre-cruise testing?  That's a much bigger issue to me than masking, tbh.  Not knowing if you're actually going on the cruise until two days before you leave greatly increases anxiety and doesn't let you enjoy the countdown the way you could before.

The CDC and government needs to stay out of our lives. The past 2 years has been a perfect example of an overreach of power and the people worldwide are fed up with all of it. 

I'd happily trade booster for eliminating the headache of pre-cruise testing though.

I agree with this one.  All protocols I can live with.  This is one so stressful because you pretty much don't know if you are really cruising until two days prior.  For someone like myself who normally looks forward to sailings way in advance, this is a serious buzz kill lol.

I just wish we weren't required to take that dang test.
I don't trust the results, and man, it's so stressful.  
I'm double-vaxxed, so I wish that was enough.
 
Yes, I am aware that the cruise lines have to do it, but that don't mean I gotta like it.

I generally think we're testing too much to begin with.  There's really little need to be testing non-symptomatic vaccinated people in a fully-vaccinated setting.  

Honestly I prefer them issuing the rules month to month.  Gives them more flexibility to dial back restrictions as things get better.  Though I suppose they can always change these rules.

While not confirmed, I think this is about ensuring the ship has a Bahamas visit so Royal Caribbean can require adults to be fully vaccinated because of the Bahamas' mandate for it.
That's just a guess, no firm evidence to back that up.
