Not sure who you booked this cruise with…but certainly you did not book it for 4 people.  
Number one: I don’t think there is any type of room that can be booked for 4 people for $1500…is there?  
Number two: when you book a reservation, you must enter all the names into the booking at that original time.  As @F1guynz notes…you can change names however…they must be on the booking to begin with.
Your picture is very confusing!  It notes that you have 318 days to set sail yet it shows March 3, 2024 as final payment!  I have never seen a final payment due sooooo far in advance!  What kind of cruise is this, anyway?
 
As for your statement:  Now I’m feeling like I’m going to have to sue and just recoup my lawyer fees, my money back,  plus punitive damages  all I can say is WOW!  Good luck with that!
I don’t mean to sound demeaning but my gosh this definitely sounds fishy!
 

I am not seeing where you booked for 4 guests. Did you pay the deposit for the other guests at the time of booking?

Just watched all 3 shows last week, a Monday to Friday cruise. Have seen Momma Mia in Vegas.. Broadway.. The movie. and now 3 times on the Allure... ... ...!!! And I really mean ...! Especially the song Momma Mia and how they did the back up  singers heads only, all in the stage right door.
To start it off. I didn't know it was "Rosie" who did my safety briefing upon boarding. She promised me a "Queen wave" too. H
Is there a way to get a cast list? They were superb.
 

If this is what your question means:
I believe I do pay every time I book a cruise because I ALWAYS choose my room!  The “we pick your room” price seems to always be lower by several hundred dollars but I do not want a room Forward therefore I will pay the higher price in order to get what I want.  I also have never tried a Royal Up for that reason…perhaps I would IF I knew the room I was bidding on would NOT be in the Forward area!

On the other hand, there is something to be said for not tailgating. Even when walking, I like to be sensitive to social distance. Still, I don't understand the folks who huddle in the middle of traffic instead of stepping to the side to coordinate.

How about this one…a group comes in late to the show, knocks over your drinks while trying to get to their seat, and then sits for 5 mins and decides to leave. 😒 that happened last night 

I think we all agree that chair hogs are the most annoying cruisers but following a close second are those who wander to the front of the theatre at all times during a show. This is a huge pet peeve of everyone I talk to, never mind how distracting it must be to performers. I don’t understand why they don’t close doors 15 minutes after showtime and just deny access to latecomers.

From Canada…to Canada: Discovering Liberty, Eh? – LB 08/24/23 – 09/02/23

Here we go! The @Lovetocruise2002 family is off on another adventure, starting from our home in Canada, to Canada.
The family is really look forward to this cruise for different reasons. For Hubby, it’s a chance to sail to destinations that we have never been, and on a ship that is new for us. For the kids, they are just excited because they get another free vacation lol. They are also excited to head out to see Eastern Canada. We have lived in Canada all our lives and have yet to ever see the East Coast provinces. For myself, I just love to cruise, so I’ll go just about anywhere, but this was an itinerary that Hubby and I booked for July 2020, and we lost it, so I am extremely happy that I was able to replace it and bring the kids this time.
The highlight of this sailing is of course, the itinerary. We have never visited any of these ports and cannot wait to explore them. I feel that it is a good mix of city vs. nature in these ports, something that both girls will be happy with.

Depending on how far out you are, you can email this request also- I think they suggest around 30 days before. I sent a request for a table for 3 of us (a table for 4, basically) and near a window or the front door.... They sent me this a few days later, which has the table size, table number and some other info on it. It was cool to have a table number ahead of time so on embarkation day, when we did our Muster, which happened to be in our dining room, we were able  to walk around and find the table.

Thank you very much for everyone’s well wishes.  Despite the excellent care my mother in law received on Oasis and in the hospital ICU in Norfolk, she passed away this past Tuesday.  She was 79.

But if there was no adventure ocean, there'd be more kids running around the various decks. So you indirectly benefit
 

Guess I've got a lot to learn.  I thought a charcuterie was a tower of food with finger sandwiches, cheese, meats, breads, etc.

 
So I should have more correctly asked, if you ordered tea with finger sandwiches and a relish plate, would that then be a high tea?

I saw that Viking dropped all pre-cruise testing yesterday (except where required like US and Canada). If they can do it, RCI and other lines can too (at least overseas).  
 
As others have said, pre-cruise testing really sucks a lot of the joy out of the pre-cruise period since you have no idea if you’re going on the trip until two days before. 

I hope its removed soon...its prevented me from booking multiple cruises so far, as I cant financially afford the risk of getting to the port and failing a covid test.
 
 

Based on that link and my “sale” observations, it will be the same old same old.  Hadn’t been an actual sale for any of my cruises in a very long time.

Just got back today from our first cruise ever on Oasis of the Seas, and it was hands down THE BEST vacation we've taken.  
Thanks to Matt, all his videos I watched, and all the advice from everyone here, we were fully prepared for everything. 

There is no bad time to visit Alaska but there are two reasons why I like the early season.  The first are the longer days since the longest day of the year is June 21.  In Alaska that is amplified so days are really long in the early cruise season compared to August or September.   The second reason are the snow capped mountains that are more photogenic in the early cruise season.

As always, I love the pictures but the ravens with the little fireball bottle (what it looks like to me) is making me laugh. 

Those eagles look so striking........and even with somewhat crap weather, Alaska looks breathtaking, or it could be the photos that captured it.

The little white paper caps that go on top of the glasses in the room fit nicely over the can, protecting you from anything unwanted 😉 

I don’t understand why Royal isn’t using the aluminum twist top, re-closable, water bottle that Celebrity is using.
