Do something many can't do so you can say "see, look what I did" then complain about it since complaints get more traffic than compliments.

It's a small group of tik tokers drumming up drama and trying to put negative spins on everything. I'm following quite a few people on reddit and IG and they've had nothing but glowing reviews about the whole trip so far

like I mentioned earlier,I work on a port where huge container ships dock..if I'm there when they arrive I STILL  sit there and watch in awe at how they spin them around and slide them right into the pier. It's really amazing

also if my airtags could stop alerting me that my large suitcase was left behind and last seen at the FLL airport, that would be great 😅🙃🫠😂

Summary:  Sleep does wonders
I am sorry for taking until the third day to update my trip.  I have taken a 2 to 3 hour nap every day.  I have also got 8 to 10 hours sleep every night.  I have kept my alcohol to one drink a day and drank lots of water.  I have not been doing lots of the events (trivia, game shows...) that I normally do.  Now today I feel like a real person.  I figure I was on autopilot and was going through the steps.  Now do not get me wrong, I was not doing my job or coaching subpar, but my entire life revolved around work and water polo.  I have gone 4 days without working and I have not done that in a lot of months.
Now I would like to give you some advice from someone that knows nothing.  Break your routine up with something different.  If you are working make sure you take a weekend day and get away and do something you normally would not do.  If you are retired make sure you break up your routine.  Go visit your family that you have not seen in a while.  Go someplace that you would never go by choice.  Take your spouse on a real date (drive in theater and make out).  The main idea is do something to break your routine up.

Yeah, when you join 30 minutes ago, you miss some of the threads that happened in real time. The original post in this thread is a link to a cruise blogger video on it so I'm not sure what your gripe is?  It was discussed here by a first hand person on the ship along with any who wanted to comment and then a video from a blog.
If this became as regular as fights and such on Carnival, you would hear just as much about it.  The 2 are reputationally different at this point so Carnival needs to have more clean months to shed their rep and RCI has to have more occurrences like this to move theirs.
Put in a little effort and you'll see that the "crickets" are actually singing a song.

I think they are mixing up the itineraries for the 7-day cruises.  There are some 7-day trips that drop Mazatlan, and some that drop PV.  I see that there are 22 cruises that have Cabo, PV and Mazatlan on the itinerary.

Absolutely agree, the food-available times are rubbish now on Royal. Not only after 9pm but there's that giant hole in the middle of the afternoon too, from 3pm to 6pm. Remember when the WJ used to be open during those hours with sandwiches and cakes and stuff? 😕

This is an entertaining conversation but going nowhere.
Not liking something is fine but bluntly ignoring the facts presented to you because you don't like them is another thing.
If a ship is legally allowed (for safety reasons) to have 5000 pax and they sold them all a cruise for $1000 then the revenue is 5mil. Now if there were 200 babies that they decided to give free cruise to revenue falls by $200k plus all the ancillary purchases full size people make. Now what do you think would happen, yes they would raise the cost to those without babies to maintain their revenue. So now is that fair on those without the kids having to pay extra.
So while the end result is a business decision it is a result of the safety rules.

There are a few Alaska sailings online now for summer 2025. Although it's a bit early, this must be a test load ahead of the scheduled release at the end of the month. These are the ones I'm seeing at the moment.

They have limited space and capacity issues.  That's the reality.
You shouldn't feel like a peon, but you should feel entitled to less than those at Diamond Plus and Pinnacle.  That's who gets that access in those hours.   They earned it.  If a day comes when it can only be Pinnacle,  so be it.
There are so many better places on the ship to spend those hours.

If I had my choice, that's what I would have done from the get-go, but I did not choose this excursion. I could have happily spent an afternoon at a bar overlooking Maho Beach.

This is how people are.  We all want to live in a small quiet place.  The last house we think should be built is the one for us to move in.  The last business allowed, the small business we start.  Anything beyond that is too much and ruining the fabric.  This is really everyplace.  People are very strange and forgetful that it required acceptance for them to come initially.

If I’m ever on another ship that parks at Nassau, we’re not getting off the ship.
