Royal is partly to blame for this incident on Symphony as the crew member requested his contract be for Voyeur of the Seas. 

Veteran cruisers know to store their suitcases under the bed, thus eliminating space for stateroom attendant to hide. 

So my old Platinum and Emerald ones are now 'collectible'?  Ebay here I come...

To throw a tiny amount fuel on this fire, I received an email survey from Celebrity this evening inquiring about my feelings on status matching the loyalty programs between Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, and Silversea (the attached picture). It sounds like, at least for the moment, RCG isn't planning any major changes to how each works, but there might be more alignment with tiers between brands.

My date was just a guess based on how long it took to build Icon. It'll be done "when it's done". 🙂 

Me too, since Icon 3 probably won't be ready until that summer or fall. They would need a stopgap ship (Allure).

According to the latest plans for the new terminal, the building that currently is used for indoor parking will be used for baggage claim, customs, and port offices. Looks like the indoor parking will go away.

To get to the canal, ships must pass under three bridges, which will constrain height. The design should include providing for sailing to and from Tampa, Baltimore, and other ports that have low bridges. They will also take the width of the ship into account. The lifeboats on the Discovery can't obstruct the ship from getting into the lock.
