So, I guess nobody from the boards here is fortunate enough to be on board or we'd have heard about it by now, but there is a poster over on CC who is posting live as I write this, with lots of photos for those of you are gasping for a cruise fix. I visited Norway once, many years ago, to compete in an athletics competition. The hosts did organise some sightseeing for us but obviously it was very limited due to time constraints.
I have always planned to go back. The cruise we lost this year was the second attempt, having lost the first one to a family wedding. Hopefully it will be third time lucky, if not next year then definitely 2022. Fingers crossed.

Ohh that’s the apple pie! I’m not keen on raisins either, I’m certain it didn’t have any.

Ok neither of those jarred things are bolognese and ragu is barely sauce.  So maybe not.  At my house, making sauce is an all day affair and made in a 16 qt stock pot!

My son ate this every night for a week and was thrilled

And my morning Bloody Mary, mid-day and post-lunch margaritas, 2 glasses of wine with dinner, and Baileys on the rocks with espresso shot don't hold a candle to that butter or cheese! ?

I see people are concerned about thick cuts of cheese and copious amounts of butter, but nobody is talking about all the calories consumed from the deluxe beverage package. HMM? ? 

And oh so much better for you than the 8 tablespoons of butter on the escargots. ??

If they would take the raisins out of the apple pie, I would agree with you.  Raisins....yuk !

Leave the French Onion Soup alone!!!

Please don't remove the plain roast chicken, my wife has allergies and is quite a fussy eater. Chicken every night of the cruise without fail.

For anyone who's sailed on a past Thanksgiving - how many actually had the turkey?

Went once on Majesty myself and would absolutely go again.  So different from the other Caribbean ports.

We enjoyed the embarkation day lunch back in MAY 2019 when it was still held in Chops Grille... I can see how the quality may be inconsistent now that it's held in the MDR for a larger crowd. ?
Yes, you can cancel any Cruise Planner purchase usually up to 2 days or so prior to your sailing (when they close out the Cruise Planner for purchases)... check out the terms/conditions at the bottom of the page (after clicking on the item to purchase). They will tell you when the CP closes out for your sailing. Our CP closes out at 11:59 PM EDT on 4/22/21 (we sail on 4/24/21... hopefully!)...

With regards to buying The Key... it really depends on how they handle the different classes and the new rules. We have a group cruise booked for April '21 on Freedom and I plan on writing a Live Blog about the whole thing. Could you possibly buy The Key now at the "cheaper" price with the notion that you can always get a refund/CC before the cruise if things aren't being handled to your comfort? 

I agree.  Lunch in Chops is one of my favorite features of the UDP.  I will be seriously unhappy if this is no longer a feature, given the [projected] later boarding times.  According to everything I have seen so far (realizing that nothing is known for sure, yet), boarding will not even begin until after the lunch hours would have already expired.

Sovereign was my first cruise in 1998! I loved sail away.. I remember there were people down on the dock waving at our departure like an old school sailing vessel.

Yes, it is sad. But there is a bright side in the salvage and recycling process. The Sovereign will come back to life in other cruise ships.
