LOL I've actually googled some of the acronyms I've seen reading all these blogs!  Not only the ones related to the ships but other ones as well...such as:  IMO (in my opinion) YOLO (you only live once).  I think there are still a few I can't figure out!!  I'm not on any social media and if I don't get a chance to ask one of my kids or grandkids what something means I just wing it!  Finding a huge list would make life much easier for me!!  so maybe I will finally get educated if some of our long-time bloggers decide to contribute to this!

I think it depends on how far off your sailing is.  My November 2021 and April 2022 cruises show that 35% sale banner but my November 2022 only has very slight changes...that one not worth doing anything with it.  Not that anything is something to WOW about at this point!

Absolutely, as well as a Father's Day Sale, Flag Day Sale, Dog Days of Summer Sale, Labor Day Sale, Full Moon Fever Sale, End of Summer Sale, a "Keep Checking Back for a Better Deal" Sale, a "Just Because We Decided to Have a Sale" Sale........
I guess I'm trying to say there are a lot of sales! ? 
(But seriously, do keep checking back for better deals!)

We don't drink, so we do the Refreshment package to pre-pay for our mocktails, fresh squeezed orange juice, and my "fancy coffee".  We've never paid more than $25 pppd for it and it's easy to "break even" even at that price.  Most recently we got it for $18pppd which was a steal!

Awesome! It will be my second cruise ever. My husband and I are excited to sail on a big (and newer/newly amplified) ship like the Oasis because we both have restrictive work schedules so a 7+ day cruise is out of the question. It seems like the Oasis is generally available only for the longer cruises. Needless to say, we’re looking forward to it.

In Cozumel there are dogs at the end of the pier sniffing for food and there are baskets full of various ship foods they've confiscated. Mostly bananas...

Hmm, I received 125% OBC for my cancelled cruise planner items in January.
The "30% off" price on the drink packages I'm looking at is about 120% (119.86%) of what I had paid for the cancelled cruise.

     I do not see Starbucks listed on the Royal page (https://www.royalcaribbean.com/cruise-ships/ovation-of-the-seas_).  Please note that the Starbucks branded coffee shop is generally NOT included with beverage packages, so it would be an extra cost.  The Starbucks I have see on the ships also have a more limited menu than your regular locations.
 
However, the Cafe Promenade has a lot of options both "free to all" and included with beverage packages, and they use Seattle's Best Coffee, which is owned by Starbucks anyway (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seattle's_Best_Coffee).
 
As a Starbucks Rewards Gold member since 2012, there is not much difference in the taste of the espresso based drinks.

This is very true. I forget two days there is a huge bonus!

Four drinks per day on a cruise, I think I may have been over indulging over the past few years. ? 
 
What I'm looking for is a number around $60 dollar per day/per person DBP + Wifi bundled together, I think that is a fair price.  Now if Royal decides to be generous and go as low as $48/day I will be all over it. 

Lowest I have seen the DBP on its own recently is $53/pp/pd, and bundled with Voom for one device, $61/pp/pd. If you see any drink package that starts with a $4_ buy it ASAP, that's an amazing deal! 
 

Not sure if this is a “good” price or not, but we’re booked for a 4-day cruise on the Oasis starting November 3. The deluxe drink package started at $71pp/day and, as of this morning, is at $62. We cancelled our package and rebooked at the lower price. (We’re buying it even if it’s not a good price—we can definitely put away 6+ drinks a day on vacation! Don’t judge us ?)
