That's because you two were on the cruise!  I follow your post on this site and I will testify that you all are my "ideal" of how to travel.   "if it comes let it, if it goes let it, enjoy the ride!"

We are scheduled to go on the Oasis on April 5th from Miami.  My husband and I decided last night that we are going REGARDLESS.
Reasons:
1. We booked this cruise last April 2019 and reserved a beautiful Crown Loft Suite.  The price a year ago was much more affordable for us than it would be now.  Even if we used the FCC, we would still not be able to book a comparable cruise for the price we received back in 2019.  If we want the same amenities on a later sailing, it would end up costing us more.
2. This is our son's Spring Break and he is 17 years old.  How much more time we will get to spend with him before he's off doing his own life things and not wanting to spend his entire Spring Break cruising the Caribbean with mom and dad?  So here we have the "I don't care if we are quarantined for two weeks"....as long as I am with my family, it's all good.  I tend to make the best out of crappy situations so I know we would probably have a pretty good time.  LOL!
3. We are fortunate to not be flying to Miami.  Instead, we are driving from North Carolina.
4. We don't do buffets.  EVER.  (My rule)
5. We are all under the age of 50 and healthy so I think if we were exposed to the virus, it would not be life threatening.  Of course, we would respect the quarantine if we were exposed.  I would never put innocent, healthy people at risk.
I hope you are able to make your decision with what is right for you and your family.  The last time we were on the Oasis was in 2012 so I am very excited to see the new make over.

I personally came back from a south pacific cruise last saturday. I find that royal crew is doing beyond their best to provide us with a safe environment. They wipe the walls in the hallway, sometime in our cabin, the handrails and handles in the hallway at every shift... I still saw so many people (sorry but mostly 60's and older), coughing open air, no tissue, no elbow, no hands... I just read that both US and Canadian government recommend to avoid cruises. From my recent trip, I would say that the airplane represents the most potential transmission area. 
Up to you to cancel, I never felt the virus was an issue during my trip (except all those islands refusing the ship in fear of the virus!)

They are raising the prices on future cruises so that credit might not go as far as you think.

Theyre going to have to cancel on us. My parents are considering canceling/rescheduling.....but still not definite. Theyre going to wait and see, as the 48 hour policy is a nice security blanket. As for us, if they cancel on us, we already paid for a hotel and our kids are out of school for the week....we too figure we will do SOMETHING if we cant cruise! But, I suspect the hysteria will die off some by then (even though the actual virus and spreading wont). 

For those still traveling.  Here is a product you man want to bring aboard.  Spray all over your room.  Kills and protects for 24 hours

And touching the same hand rail in any ride which changes passengers every 3 min. A ship is disinfected countless times a day....all this to say... I'm annoyed! Lol

I by no means want to see people sick, but I have waited almost 2 years for our cruise in April. All my kids are grown, so it is awsome to get together with all of them. I hope we still get to cruise.

Looks like they are trying to make up for lost revenue in these troubling times.  I always make my contribution to the casino!  

I used to not keep them, but then as we've moved up in rank with C&A, we decided to use them for an art project. 
My husband and I are going to make a big anchor out of all of our old seapass cards.  The plan is to fill up the entire anchor pattern once when we get to Pinnacle status.  We are just using little key pieces of the cards on the display. 
 
I really want it to be multicolored so I would take a hot pink or any color for that matter.  I just don't want all of my cards to be blue.  I need a rainbow.  LOL!    

I've never kept any old SeaPass cards - that one I might just hang onto!

Thank you for letting me know.  It looks like they changed already.  I do like the other colors better before they made the change.  I think the Sky class is a sky blue color and the Sea class is a seafoam green.  That's what I read anyway.  So....we will still get another blue card for our collection.
 
Well....unless our Royal Up Bid gets accepted.  LOL!
