Can confirm. I had to do this with the last cruise I booked. After doing so, it popped up.

Well, the fact that it's TMZ for one and a TMZ article without a byline or any actual named sources sets my "not the full picture" sonar getting lots of pings... ? Plus the editorializing at the end (I'm a huge fan of nurses, but c'mon, TMZ...way to bury the "no blame" thing...), well...
But yeah, guessing it was a charter company. But, you know -- TMZ readers aren't exactly known for being fans of journalistic accuracy or ethics.

My father in law always orders escargots when having dinner in the dining room. After he has finished I always dip bread in the garlic sauce. That’s our cruise ritual ?

We are hopeful for our October 8th Adventure cruise up the New England coast and Canada.  We are going with several friends that all live in different states so I really hope this is cleared up and we can all go!  I too, love my balcony time the most I think.  I love all the excitement leading up the the cruise; however, I'm afraid to get too excited just yet as it may not happen.  And to top it all off - my oldest Grandson is getting married October 24th.  I really hope the wedding will not have to be rescheduled!  Lots to stress about right now ?

I long to go back to CocoCay! And looking forward to enjoying our first ever ocean view balcony on Indy (hopefully in August!) We've only done interior rooms, without a view, so we're excited to enjoy what everyone talks about- coffee on the balcony in the morning, and kraken and coke on the balcony in the eve.

I've honestly given up arguing with people about it. I'll say my point, to a point, but a lot of those who claim how you're doomed to be in a sardine can with thousands of people and guaranteed to get norovirus either let the media fear them, or aren't big cruise fans anyway. I personally figure my chances of getting sick on a cruise ship or on land is about the same. Either I come in contact with some virus or I don't. Either my body puts up a good fight or it doesn't. I don't judge you and don't care if you judge me. :)

Also keep in mind that Royal offices are closed.  Employees are working from home like the rest of us.   They aren't used to that and every employee is dealing with children home from school, grocery store or toilet paper challenges and likely family or friends infected with COVID-19 just like the rest of us are dealing with this.

For a class action lawsuit to exist there has to be a loss or harm. NOBODY has had a loss or harm by RCCI. You were made whole in a manner that was better than stipulated in your contract. RCCI is dealing with millions of cancellations that don't just involve cruisers. They are dealing with employee contracts, vendors and other third parties. They are taking hits to their liquidity with cancellations. I am truly amazed at Americans..and people in general,  behavior during this pandemic. From people still partying and having no regard for others safety. To people who feel entitled to special treatment. Nobody has any patience.
@Cruise Happy I only reply because I am shocked at how much blame is being placed by people who play the "greedy corporation game. With interest rates so low and the cost it takes to keep empty ships, RCCI is not making bank. YOU and only you decided to book a refundable/nonrefundable fare to cruise, knowing that if you cancel you would be penalized. RCCI did the best they could by allowing for no penalty changes and FCC, refunds if they cancelled. You are assuming a lot about me..... I have been on 1 RCCI cruise, I own no stock with them but I have been doing accounts receivable for various law firms and large corporations for over 17 years. I am a realist, corporations do what they do because we allow them to do it. You're complaining about greed but you also want your profit sharing and 401k to do good. There is bad PR but COVID-19 is to blame for that. RCCI did not break any laws because they did not put in writing any promises they have not kept.
Again nothing against you venting your frustration but RCCI is not wrong, greedy, amoral, deceptive etc. This is not everyday, this is not normally how things work. Over 1000 people died yesterday. Corporations are not moving swiftly, banks don't work as fast. Most of us have nothing but time.....

My revised cruises, a list that supersedes all others:
    June 4, 2020: 9-Day New England/Bermuda on Adventure to/from Cape Liberty
December 18, 2020: 8-Day Bahamas and CoCoCay to/from Baltimore on Grandeur -- Christmas Day on a cruise ship!

Thanks for so many insights to my question; as you all know, sitting in social-distance/stay-in mode gives you way too much time to be alone with your thoughts, especially in those off hours when not keeping yourself busy with work. My cruise this June to New England/Canada was going to be my first real vacation in years; I was supposed to go to the PNW last fall, but shortly before I was to leave, my gallbladder decided we needed to part ways, and it took me several months to rebound. I hit upon the idea of a cruise as a fun, all-inclusive sort of vacation to go someplace I haven't...needless to say, it wasn't feeling like some "luxury" to me, but rather, an important move for my mental health.
And now...all this. The sheltering in place, the social distancing, the reports of  the disease running rampant on some cruises, the bad rap cruising is getting from people right now for lots of reasons...in fact, the bad rap that tourism in general is getting from people, the financial turmoil...
It's all making me wonder if I just need to shelve my vacation plans indefinitely, but especially my cruise plans. And it really sucks to think about..and not in a whiny "I won't get to go on vacation now!" sort of way. I mean, I'm even facing the possibility that my cruise itinerary that I've been looking forward to for months will suddenly become unrecognizable and go places that I'm honestly not too keen on visiting, a proposition that will leave me on the short end of the stick from Royal.
I hate this. I hate this all so, so much.
